John Travolta has opened up about the death of his son Jett in an on-stage interview in London.

The Hollywood star described his child's passing as "the worst thing that's ever happened in my life".

Jett Travolta died aged 16 back in January 2009 following a seizure during a holiday in the Bahamas.

Grease actor Travolta was speaking at A Conversation With... event at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in which he answered questions about his life and career.

Travolta said that he "didn't want to wake up" after Jett's death and that the Church of Scientology helped him recover in the following months.

 

"I will forever be grateful to Scientology for supporting me for two years solid, I mean Monday through Sunday," he said.

"They didn't take a day off, working through different angles of the techniques to get through grief and loss, and to make me feel that finally I could get through a day."

The actor also spoke about his mid-career struggles before he recovered his fame in 1994's Pulp Fiction.

"It got a little complicated for a few years," he said. "A lot of things added up to a five-year period that wasn't so good for me."

Thanking director Quentin Tarantino, he said: "There were people who were much hotter than me who wanted the role.

"But Quentin put his career on the line and refused to make the movie without me in it."

John Travolta celebrates his 60th birthday tomorrow (February 18). He was also handed a cake shaped like an aeroplane, in recognition of his love for aviation.

Khloe Kardashian has shown her support for animal rights by stepping out in a statement faux fur coat - but said that she is still angry at PETA for "bullying" her sister Kim.

The star wore an outfit with "f**k yo fur" scrawled across the back during filming of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in New York.

 

The message was graffitied on in a style reminiscent of an anti-fur protest, but appears to be part of the design, as Kardashian happily showed off the outfit in a Keek video.

Despite stating that the outfit was made of fake fur, Kardashian still came under fire from critics on Twitter, prompting her to angrily post: "How do people not know that FAUX means FAKE?!? Come on people!"

She also spoke again about her decision to leave PETA after activists from the group flour-bombed her sister Kim on a red carpet in March 2012.

"No I'm NOT with PETA! I stand for kindness," she said. "Treat others the way you want to be treated. This includes the ones w/a voice and the ones wo.

"How can u ask 4 non cruelty yet u attack my sister? No thanks! Won't be apart of your bullying ways."

Kardashian recently defended a racy outfit worn by her 18-year-old half-sister Kendall Jenner at New York Fashion Week, tweeting: "She's too dope for you 2 understand! Yall would trade places with her in a second!"

Kate Middleton and the Queen welcomed some major movie stars to Buckingham Palace on Monday evening (February 17), including Helen Mirren, 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen and new Downton Abbey star Richard E Grant.

The event marked the Queen's 60 years as patron of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Helena Bonham Carter, who played the Queen's mother in The King's Speech, also attended.

The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore a recycled Alexander McQueen red dress, greeted the celebrities in the White Drawing Room.

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have reportedly got married.

The 34-year-old actor and 27-year-old actress, former stars of The OC and Gossip Girl respectively, have tied the knot in secret less than three months after their engagement went public, according to US Weekly.

The couple have only been photographed together a handful of times since news of their relationship broke in February 2013.

They will both star in 2014 comedy film Life Partners alongside Gillian Jacobs.

Brody recently joked that his The OC character Seth Cohen would be dead by now.

"I think he'd be going down to Mexico and probably had a bad car accident," he explained. "It wasn't any fault of his own, but yeah, knowing what I know now about Seth and his poor decision-making, that's my guess."

The Hong Kong actor is reportedly planning to register his marriage in United States

After dating for over 20 years, actor-singer Leo Ku and his girlfriend Lorraine, who is also his assistant, will finally tie the knot this year, reported Hong Kong media.

Unlike his usual reactions, Leo said “okay” when his friends jokingly asked him to get married soon so that he could distribute red packets during the next Chinese New Year gathering, a sure sign that wedding bells will be ringing for them.

Leo’s company Emperor Entertainment Group, has been very supportive of the relationship and reportedly permitted the singer to go on leave in June to prepare for his wedding.

On Valentine’s Day tomorrow (which coincides with Chinese Valentine’s Day this year), the couple will be travelling to China for work, before heading to United States for a show. Word has it that Leo and Lorraine might register their marriage during the trip in America.

Both artistes have refuted claims that they are dating each other

Rumour has it that Mandopop star Show Luo and Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin have been secretly dating for four months. Responding to the reports, Show uploaded a self-portrait with a “helpless” expression on his microblog and wrote: “Stop matchmaking me with everyone!”

At the same time, Show’s manager emphasised that the two are not close terms, while Ruby’s manager reiterated that though the rumoured pair frequently interact on social media, they are not that close in real life.

According to a Taiwanese tabloid, Show drove a black Ferrari sports car to Ruby’s house on Jan 26, the eve of her 38th birthday. To prevent his identity from getting exposed, the singer reportedly rode a different car to her place last Wednesday.

In addition, Ruby’s neighbour also claimed that a man, who is believed to be the actress’ new beau as he purposely hid his face from the public, was previously spotted in the vicinity. 

Show and Ruby first got to know each other via their mutual friend, actress Shu Qi. The actress attended Show’s concert in Taipei last January, when their romance allegedly started brewing.

Reports claimed that the couple has been dating for seven years

Taiwanese actor Peter Ho was spotted at a night market in Taiwan with a pair of male and female friends on Tuesday. While enjoying their dinner, Peter was seen serving the food to the lady as they whispered to each other, which hinted at their close relationship. The company of three headed to the actor’s house after the meal.

Sources later claimed that the lady named Peggy is Peter’s girlfriend of seven years. It is said that the couple has been keeping a low profile ever since their relationship came to light in 2009, two years after they secretly started dating.

When probed on his night market outing, Peter explained that he wanted to spend time with his cousin who has just returned from Canada. At the same time, the 38-year-old called Peggy “a good friend whom he could talk to”. 

Singing praises of Peggy’s kind and filial personality, Peter let on that his rumoured girlfriend is an online accessories store owner. “She’s met my parents. My dad knows most of my friends, so they come over to visit during festive seasons,” he added.

The actor, who previously announced his goal to get married at 40, also revealed his father’s wish to have grandchildren soon.

Peter and Peggy first met via mutual friends, when the latter was working as a retail assistant. The 34-year-old has since left her job and rarely appeared in public with Peter after they got together.

Pharrell Williams has addressed comments about his youthful appearance at 40 years old.

The singer responded to internet memes and jokes that he is vampire as he hasn't appeared to age in his 20-year career. 

"I'm willing to go on record as saying that I don't drink people's blood," he told Time Out. "How do I stay so young-looking for a 40-year-old? I wash my face." 

Meanwhile, the singer and producer, who has had a string of hit singles over the last 12 months with 'Get Lucky', 'Blurred Lines' and 'Happy', admitted he is struggling to stay cool about his renewed success. 

"Seriously, I find myself trying to be cool about it, but I'm really like... whoa!" he said. "I've always produced music for artists who are going through this level of success, but I just didn't know it would be this crazy. 

"I'm like a kid with a sweet tooth waking up in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory." 

He continued: "Look, as a producer, I've always been the guy standing next to the guy, and I was happy with that. But the universe taps you on your shoulder and you realize that there's more in store for you. It's kind of like The Karate Kid." 

Pharrell will perform at this year's Brit Awards, which take place tomorrow (February 19) and will be broadcast live from 8pm on ITV.

Victoria Beckham has admitted to having her breast implants removed. 

The former Spice Girl was candid in a recent interview with the US magazine Allure, where she talked about her new sleeker look. 

Commenting on an older photo of her with ample cleavage, she said: "I don't have them anymore. I think I may have purchased them."

Beckham also opened up about her home life with her football star husband, revealing: "[David] is the most wonderful man I have ever met.

"He's a fantastic father. He's incredibly talented, a wonderful husband. I supported him for many years, and he's proud of me. He supports me. We're very equal at home."

David Beckham recently supported his wife's fashion ambitions in attendance with their four children during her show at this year's London Fashion Week. 

In the interest of focusing on her fashion career, Victoria has revealed that she feels "it's time for the Spice Girls to end", insisting she would never return for a reunion.

Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed that he had doubts about spoofing Titanic on Saturday Night Live.

DiCaprio made a surprise cameo on SNL to reenact a famous scene from the classic film with his Wolf of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill.

The actor admitted on CBS This Morning that he was initially skeptical of parodying the movie.

"But then I said, 'You know what? This is actually pretty damn funny. Let's do this'," he added.

DiCaprio added that he is still amazed by the impact that Titanic has had on his life.

"You know, it's been such a long time, but it was such a huge part of my life," he said. "And people maybe think I have a reaction to that - to that film. 

"But the truth is, I'm incredibly proud of it. And not only that, the movie has really made me be in control of my career."

Saturday Night Live returns to NBC on March 1 with guest host Jim Parsons.

Sources claimed that Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui will finally tie the knot on Easter Day

In December, Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui’s manager announced that the couple will be getting married this year. Sources recently revealed that the lovebirds have set their wedding date on Easter Day (Apr 20), and that their good friend, actress Shu Qi, will play bridesmaid on that day.

In addition, an insider further claimed that Sammi is currently two months pregnant and that the couple will welcome a “Horse” baby at the end of the year.

According to Hong Kong media, Andy successfully proposed to Sammi on her birthday last August. The 46-year-old had described his “three step proposal”, which includes a diamond ring, flowers and going down on his knees, as “peaceful and earnest”.

The two were spotted together at the airport on Tuesday night

Mandopop star Jay Chou was spotted at Taoyuan International Airport with his mother and girlfriend, actress-model Hannah Quinlivan, on Tuesday night. The trio reportedly transited in Dubai, before flying to their destination in France.

Unlike his usual practice of travelling with a big group of friends, Jay went on a holiday with only his mum and girlfriend this time around, sparking rumours that the couple had specially gone overseas to register their marriage.

The multi-hyphenate, who turned 35 last month, once declared his wish to settle down at this age. In an earlier interview, Jay also revealed his desire to become a dad in the near future. “I hope the age gap between my child and I would not be too big,” he said.

While Jay’s company JVR Music declined to comment on the artiste’s personal schedule, Hannah’s manager admitted that the model is currently vacationing in Europe, but insisted that she is not there to tie the knot.

Emma Watson may have been confirmed as the female star of Fifty Shades of Grey.

A group of online hackers known collectively as Anonymous reportedly hacked into the internal server of German studio Constantin film, and leaked several documents, including one relating to the upcoming Focus Features adaptation.

 

The document states that Watson is attached to star as naive college student Ana Steele, whose relationship with sexually sadistic billionaire Christian Grey is at the center of the erotic trilogy.

The hackers, who have previously leaked phone numbers and credit card information from celebrities including Beyoncé and Kanye West, boasted about their success on Twitter, and the leak was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. 

Along with several documents relating to films that Constantin is considering for acquisition, the hackers also published a list of employees' email addresses. 

It has long been rumored that Watson is a frontrunner for the role of Ana, although she herself has denied any involvement. 

No director has yet been confirmed for the adaptation of EL James's bestselling novel, which is being written by Kelly Marcel and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti (The Social Network).

Charlotte Dawson has been found dead at her apartment at the age of 47.

It is believed the Australia's Next Top Model judge was found by her security guard. Suspicions were aroused when she failed to show up for a lunch date with a friend.

In a statement to news.com.au, a police spokesperson said: "About 11am police from the Kings Cross local area command were called to Cowper Wharf Road after the body of a woman had been located in a unit. 

"No suspicious circumstances at this stage and a report is being prepared for the coroner."

Born in New Zealand, Dawson moved to New York at 16. She later relocated to Australia where she presented various fashion segments and a show called Runway to L.A.

The former model has battled with depression for many years and was hospitalized in 2012 after being targeted by Twitter trolls.

Angelababy: Huang Xiaoming is a potential husband

Popular Hong Kong model-turned-actress Angelababy and her Chinese actor boyfriend Huang Xiaoming have been dating for years, and prefer to keep their relationship low-key relationship.
However, Angelababy surprised everyone when she opened up about their relationship recently. She admitted that she has "met his parents" and said that they are "very happy now."
Angelababy and Xiaoming's relationship was perceived to be on the rocks recently with rumors of them splitting up and then getting hitched. She addressed these rumors and denied that they were ever on the verge of breaking up.

Hawick Lau and Yang Mi are getting married tomorrow at the Bali island (Indonesia). Yesterday at 6pm, Hawick finally finished working in Shanghai and flew back to Hong Kong to pick up his soon to be wife Yang Mi, his father Lau Dan and mother. It had been widely rumored Yang Mi is pregnant, Hawick had a big reaction when heard this: "Hahaha...ah...hahaha... I'll let you all know when there is good news!" Will Yang Mi reduce her on-screen work after marriage and focus more on the family? He expressed: "She can balance between family and work. She won't give up anything. (What if there is a baby?) Hahaha... talk about that when we do have one!" Does Hawick like to have a boy or a girl? He said: "Hahaha." But he admitted he and Yang Mi are prepared to have children. It was disclosed Hawick did careful wedding planning, arranging the five star hotel and romantic beach wedding. He deliberately created a surprise for Yang Mi. Hawick said a little disappointed: "Not any surprise, everyone (the media) went to take pictures already. Whatever surprise there was is no surprise." Will the couple share the wedding photos with the public? He laughed: "Let's see if she wants to or not. Have to see whether the photos look good or not before posting." Hawick declined to reveal how much he spent on the wedding. He just laughed: "Priceless."

Nicki Minaj is facing a lawsuit from a man who claims she stole his designs for some of her most outrageous wigs.

Wig maker Terrence Davidson alleges that in 2010 Minaj took credit for designing several of his "fresh, hip and unique wigs".

These wigs included the neon ones she wore in her 'Super Bass' video, as well as a pink afro high-top wig with straight bangs. 

According to TMZ, Davidson has accused Minaj of not only stealing his ideas but talking him out of a multi-million-dollar reality show deal because she claimed it would ruin their partnership.

Davidson is seeking a minimum of $30 million in damages. Minaj has yet to respond publicly to the suit. 

The rap star has recently debuted a more natural look in her new video for 'Lookin Ass N***a', sporting no perm and no extensions. 

She is poised for the release of a new album, The Pinkprint, which does not yet have a launch date.

Miley Cyrus kissed Katy Perry during her show in Los Angeles last night (February 22).

The pair locked lips midway through Cyrus's performance of her latest single 'Adore You'.

The 21-year-old climbed to the edge of the stage and beckoned Perry forward before planting a kiss on her.

Making a reference to Perry's 2008 breakout track 'I Kissed a Girl', Cyrus then told the crowd: "I just kissed a girl and I really liked it a lot."

Perry was at the show to watch the singer perform the LA leg of her 'Bangerz' tour.

The 29-year-old took to Twitter after the concert, posting a picture of the aftermath of the kiss.

Tagging Cyrus in the post, she wrote: "And after! I adore you."

Cyrus kicked off her risqué 'Bangerz' tour in Vancouver last week.

The show involves the star making her entrance down a giant pink slide - a replica of her famous tongue - and flying across the venue on a giant hot dog.
