Emma Bunton downplays Spice Girls reunion: "Nothing in the pipeline"
Emma Bunton has denied fresh rumors of another Spice Girls reunion.
Mel C recently fuelled rumors of a potential tour of some kind in honor of the Spice Girls' debut single 'Wannabe' in 2016, saying that the group would "see what [they] can do" for fans.
Bunton suggested that her bandmate's comments were premature while appearing on ITV's Loose Women today (May 14).
"I keep reading these rumors as well and the thing is, that one isn't true," she stressed. "We love being together and hanging out but no, there's nothing in the pipeline as yet I'm afraid, so that's a no-no."
Bunton went on to laugh off suggestions that the Spice Girls would take part in a future incarnation of the Big Reunion television show in the UK.
She also denied that Victoria Beckham is trying to block the girl group from reforming.
"My little one is still only 3 years old," she added. "I can't be going off on tour and doing stuff. We are all doing individual things. I'm on radio every single morning. It's just not feasible at the moment."
The Spice Girls most recently reunited for the 2012 London Summer Olympics closing ceremony and at the premiere of Viva Forever: The Musical.
