I'm not sure if there's already a topic on him, but I couldn't find one. He's absolutely my favourite singer ^^ Anyone know who he is? I've been supporting him for a while, and his songs are getting more and more popular =) His more well known songs are "Jiang Nan" (River South), "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou" (A Thousand Years Later), "Mu Nai Yi" (Mummy). For those who haven't heard of him before.. download those songs, they're great songs.

So... he's from singapore, and he composes his songs, and he wrote songs for other aritsts such as Cyndi Wang, A-do, Vivian Hsu (and more), and are seen in their albums. There was something about him and a song done at 18? He's turning 25 real soon, and has 4 albums out.

He has been preparing his new album in USA, and said it will release in Feb.

In Jan (this month I guess), he'll be releasing "Xie Zhen Ji", which is like a picture book. I THINK his new song that he sang at the Taiwan countdown is for this..

He's having a concert after his 4th album is released. I keep hearing different dates, apparantly now it's around may of this year.

He's going to enter the Japanese music at the end half of this year. JJ's going to release Bian Hao 89757, which will have a Japanese version of "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou".

OB music is planning for him to enter the Korean market later on.. maybe in 2007.

JJ's also received a few offerings for acting. As for that, his company is choosing for him. If things goes according to plan, he'll start to film around the end half of this year.

He's going to be in the Chinese New Year celebration show.. on CCTV.

Kelly Osbourne has announced that she will be designing her own clothing line.

The range will be for plus-sized women and Osbourne will be using her own experiences for inspiration.

Osbourne, who sees herself as a "former fat person", told reporters: "I had one of the most exciting meetings of my life this week - it pretty much green-lit my clothing line. When I sat down in this meeting and they said, 'Yes, you have creative control and of course you can do plus size'.

"I was like, 'It's happening!'" 

Osbourne added that she will be determined to put her own personality into her line.

"It still has to be very me – quirky. But that's me, so I have to also have something slightly normal."

She added: "I've always been really into fashion. It's just that my fashion choices at an early age were really odd and they still are. I have grown to understand, as much as I don't like it, that the fashion world doesn't really want to listen to what a little chubby girl has to say." 

The Fashion Police host added that her weight loss in 2009, where she lost 70 pounds after taking part in Dancing with the Stars, had given her the experiences to motivate herself.

She said: "When I lost weight and started to wear the clothes I always wanted to wear but didn't fit into, that's when [my perception of the industry] really started to change. It did give me a bit of a bittersweet feeling towards the fashion world."

Mel C joins Asia's Got Talent judging panel
Mel C has joined the judging panel of Asia's Got Talent, it has been revealed.

The news was announced today (January 13) via Twitter.

The Spice Girls founder member will adjudicate on the talent show alongside American actor and singer Vanness Wu, Canadian musician and producer David Foster, and Indonesian and French-naturalised singer Anggun.

The singer posted on Twitter to voice her excitement about joining the show.

Mel C recently shared her interpretation of feminism with Digital Spy, saying: "I don't want feminism meaning that [my daughter] shows her flesh to get ahead."

She also spoke about The X Factor, saying that her fellow Spice Girl Mel B is the best thing about the show.

i thought there would be a thread on him but since i didnt see any, i decided to create one of my own image

Info on the artist;
Usher Raymond IV son to Jonetta Patton (née O'Neal) and Usher Terry Raymond III, is an American R&B and pop singer and actor who rose to fame in the mid-late 1990s. Currently selling 30 million albums worldwide, he has won 5 Grammy Awards and is also the part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers National Basketball Association franchise. He also owns a record label called 'US Records.'

His breakthrough success came around in his fourth studio album, Confessions which was released on March 23rd, 2004. The album's 1.1 million unit first week sales was the highest first week numbers ever scanned by a male R&B artist in Soundscan’s 13-year history.
In September the same year, he did a duet with Alicia Keys to the song (and my personal favourite ;]) 'My Boo,' which peaked at number one and gave him a total of twenty-eight weeks on top of the U.S. charts.

Anyway, he recently released an album called Here I Stand which my brother downloaded, and let me just say that he never ceases to amaze me. i love the songs in there.. you guys should listen to it if you ever have the time image

Jay Z has shared a photo of himself with his baby Blue Ivy on Instagram.

Beyoncé is thought to have taken the photo, which shows the rapper holding their baby aloft in a Lion King-style pose.

The 43-year-old is seen standing in an infinity pool while taking a tropical break with his singer wife.

Beyoncé - who gave birth to Blue Ivy in January 2012 - recently opened up about the bond she feels with her daughter.

He has also explained his decision to trademark Blue Ivy's name, saying: "People wanted to make products based on our child's name, and you don't want anybody trying to benefit off your baby's name. It wasn't for us to do anything - as you see, we haven't done anything."

Fresh from sitting down with President Barack Obama, Prince William—this time accompanied by Kate Middleton—had another meet-and-greet with some of the country's most powerful Democrats this afternoon, chatting with Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, who was with husband Marc Mezvinsky, at an event at the British Consul General's Residence in New York City to promote wildlife conservation, one of the Duke of Cambridge's principal philanthropic causes.
Kate and Will arrived at at the Conservation Reception shortly at 5:50 p.m. local time and were greeted by the British Ambassador to the U.S., Sir Peter Westmacott, and British Consul General Danny Lopez.
The duchess camouflaged her baby bump (and braved the winter chill outside) in a silvery Tory Burch coat, while Hillary—who could yet another impressive title one day herself—wore a long power-red and one of her trademark scarves.

Prince William, who is expecting his second child with Kate, was heard sharing mutual congratulations with Chelsea and Marc, who welcomed their first child, daughter Charlotte, in September. Hillary asked Kate how she had enjoyed her visit to Harlem's Northside Center this morning, and Kate told the former first lady, New York senator and secretary of state that she had very much enjoyed meeting with children and their families who benefit from the facility's work with kids with special needs.
On their way into the reception, Kate also stopped to tell a 6-year-old girl, who was there with her parents and grandparents, that she liked her footwear.
"I love your shoes and socks," the duchess told the presumably charmed-and-dazzled child. "They look very Christmasy."
Prince William was first to address the reception, calling those in attendance "lights at the end of the tunnel" when it came to the daunting task of stopping illegal poaching.
"Time is running out, but this room reminds us that support is not running out," he said. "We can be optimistic." Hillary and Chelsea also spoke at the event, as did a number of other activists.
One of the evening's guests, Louise Middleton, told reporters that she happens to have a daughter named Kate and "she gets a lot of free drinks."
As for the otherKate Middleton, Louise said, "She couldn't have been nicer, she was very attentive and she really seemed as though she was listening to what we had to say, took her time, wasn't in a rush to meet the next person."
After the reception, Will and Kate went back to the Carlyle Hotel, the luxurious spot they're bunking at while in town, to get ready to attend the Brooklyn Nets' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at the Barclays Center.
For once, Beyoncé and Jay Z won't be the most looked-at couple at the arena tonight!

Nick Cannon Says He’s Concerned About Mariah’s Mental State

If you’re still nursing a broken heart about the Nick and Mariah break up, Nick Cannon wants to inform you that he’s the one choosing to leave the relationship and it’s for the best.
TMZ reports that Cannon is the one who decided to end the marriage mostly because he believes that Mariah’s mental state isn’t healthy for their family. Sources close to the family revealed to the site Cannon believes “the environment around Mariah is toxic and fears for his kids.”
He’s said to describe their living situation as chaotic and believes Mariah’s primary concern is making money. Apparently, he’s already witnessed signs of emotional upset in their children: Twins, Moroccan and Monroe, which the public has come to know affectionately by their nickname, “Dem Babies”.
The couple has been living separately and despite rumors of Nick’s infidelity he maintains his main focus is his children.
No one likes to see the break up of a family, but the industry has made Mariah’s diva-like ways no secret and I would hate to believe she displays that same kind of attitude at home. We hope this family gets the help and support they need.

Chad Michael Murray: One Tree Hill Was "Huge" Life Experience, I Kept Memorabilia

His roots will forever remain in Tree Hill! Chad Michael Murray said in a new interview that he will always be grateful for his role on beloved TV drama One Tree Hill.

"Are you kidding me?" the former teen heartthrob, 33, said in a Cosmopolitan.com interview. "It was a large part of my life, so every day that goes by, at some point you'll see something that refers to it, or at least I will, in my life." 

Murray played Lucas Scott, the beloved basketball-playing protagonist on the WB and CW series, for nine years from 2003 to 2009. (He also returned for one final episode in 2012.)

"Playing the moral compass for that show, which is what Lucas was, was a great way for me to learn as an artist," he mused of his early 20s. "And to start understanding emotions and understanding myself."

The Agent Carter actor also appreciated that the show was shot in North Carolina rather than Hollywood. "It gave me the opportunity to grow up as a human being... which was incredible," Murray remarked. "And the fan support — they still are there every day, and I can't be more grateful for them. So yeah, of course, the show was a huge experience in my life, and I'm just happy that I got to have it and live in those shoes for six years."


During those years, Murray acquired many mementos from the show's set. "It turns out I kept too much," he revealed to Cosmopolitan. "I had a closetful of different memorabilia, and I was, like, 'Okay, I've got to find something to do with some of this stuff.' And so I ended up giving it back to the fans."

He did, however, hold on to several special items. "I still have the hoodie and I still have a jersey and I still have a couple other things," Sophia Bush's ex-husband remarked. (Bush also starred on the series as Brooke Davis, the love interest of Murray's character.) "But I thought that it would be best back in the hands of the fans who have just lived for it, and they bleed for it."

Before his big role on One Tree Hill, Murray guest-starred in several WB shows including Gilmore Girls, where he played one of Rory's high school love interests Tristan, and Dawson's Creek, in which he portrayed Charlie.

"Oh my god, we're going way back," he joked, adding of the shows: "Man, they were great ways to walk into this industry." Murray noted that he took pointers largely from the cast of Dawson's Creek including Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek, and Michelle Williams.

"I had the opportunity to learn from people who had been doing it for a couple of years longer than I was when I walked into the Dawson's cast," the Freaky Friday star said. "They really kind of guided me, because they'd already been around for five, six years, maybe longer. And if they had the time, they were showing me the ropes. I had no idea what lighting was, I had no idea about a lot of the technical aspects of what we do, and so I'm grateful for that experience."

Stalker soulmates! Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q are engaged after a whirlwind romance, Us Weekly can confirm.

An insider tells Us that McDermott, 53, actually proposed months ago, only recently gifting her with a ring while spending time in Hawaii. "No wedding date set yet," the source says.

Us confirmed back in October that the Stalker costars were dating after the two were spotted having a romantic night at Santa Barbara's Olio e Limone. "They were very flirty, smiling at each other, canoodling," an onlooker told Us at the time. "At one point she was feeding him at the table."

McDermott and the Insurgent actress, 35, have yet to comment on their relationship. McDermott was previously married to actress Shiva Rose for 14 years until their split in 2009. The exes share daughters Colette, 18, and Charlotte, 9. This will be the first marriage for the Nikita alum.

Looks like Adrienne Maloof's romance with Anheuser-Busch heir Jacob Busch has lost its buzz. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, has split from her much-younger beau of a year-and-a-half, 25, sources confirm to Us Weekly.

According to TMZ, which first reported the breakup, the relationship started to fizzle out last fall. Around that time, Maloof returned to RHOBH in a couple of cameos on the current season, bringing Busch along as her date. (She left the show after three seasons in 2013 but came back to "mend" some "unfinished situations," as she told Us last summer.)

Maloof and Busch first stepped out together back in October 2013, when they were spotted making out at an event in Hollywood. Days after that sighting, the reality TV veteran spoke to Extra about their romance, calling him a "lovely person."

"Both of our families have been in the spirits business for a long time, so he seems very familiar to me and comfortable," she said at the time. "He's a cool guy."

Prior to hooking up with Busch, Maloof briefly dated Sean Stewart, rocker Rod Stewart's 34-year-old son. And as RHOBH fans know, she was married for 10 years to plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif (now a star of E!'s Botched), with whom she has three sons. They split acrimoniously in 2012.

Over and out. Elizabeth Olsen and her fiancé Boyd Holbrook have split after three years together, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.

Their broken engagement news comes after Olsen was photographed this past weekend at a farmer's market in Studio City, Calif., without her engagement ring.

An insider at CAA's Pre-Golden Globes Party at the Soho House in West Hollywood also observed on Jan. 9 that Holbrook was at the bash sans Olsen. At one point, the Gone Girl actor was outside flirting with a blonde woman who coincidentally resembled his love of three years.

Olsen, 25, and Holbrook, 33, first started dating in 2012 after they met on the set of their film Very Good Girls, co-starring Dakota Fanning and Demi Moore. "There was great chemistry there," an insider told Us at the time. "She really likes him!"

The duo got engaged last March, less than two weeks after Us Weekly broke the news that her big sister Mary-Kate Olsen was set to marry financier Olivier Sarkozy. Former Disney star David Henrie to play Ronald Reagan in biopic

Former Disney star David Henrie will play Ronald Reagan in an upcoming biopic.

The Wizards of Waverly Place star will take on the role of the late president of the United States in Reagan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Henrie will play a young Reagan in the film told from the point of view of a KGB officer who kept a close eye on the man throughout his career.

Reagan was an actor and later SAG president before he became US president, and was known for being a staunch anti-communist.

Space Cowboys writer Howard Klausner is adapting two biographies by Paul Kengor.

Henrie also featured in How I Met Your Mother.

Reagan will be portrayed in the upcoming second season of Fargo as well.

Save a fantastic contribution to the Great Gatsby soundtrack with 'A Little Party Never Killed Nobody', it has been six years since we had a new single release from Fergie.

However, that wait ended last September with the premiere of the Black Eyed Peas star's new single 'LA Love (La La)', which will finally be available in the UK this weekend (January 25).

Digital Spy caught up with The Dutchess of pop to talk about her new single, its accompanying album and why she may not reunite with Black Eyed Peas later this year.

It's been six years since your last solo material, so what was it about 'LA Love' that made you decide it was the perfect track to return with?
"Well I did it and I just didn't want to sit on it and hold it. I felt like I was ready to call out to the world and say, 'What's up?' basically. I'm finishing this album and I'm coming with everything. I just didn't want to wait any longer."

Did you know as soon as it was finished that it was going to be the first single?
"It just felt good and the right time to spread some positivity. It felt right to me because there's all this craziness going on in the world right now. That's basically why. There's just so much going on with all the terrorism and ISIS and all of that, I just felt like I wanted to spread some chill Cali vibes."

There is such a love for The Dutchess and the singles that came from that album, so were you nervous about launching your second solo project?
"No, I'm deep in it right now as we speak. I'm going to the studio after I get off the phone. I'm completely involved in finishing the album and I'm razor-sharp focussed. I am engulfed in it. Every song is different, so for me, I'm really enjoying going into each song's vortex - from the lyrics to the sound of it, to what it looks like visually, not only in the video, but the performance - and sharing things that I've been writing for the last few years. I've been recording myself every time I get inspiration. I always write it down - it's my rule. Taking those ideas and evolving them into finished songs is such a great process that I remember how fulfilling it is to me."

How long have you been accumulating ideas? Has it been since the release of The Dutchess?
"Absolutely, because with a Black Eyed Peas album, there's not enough room for me to go into my personal feelings about everything. That's what you have a solo album for. So they're each their own animals. I'm very proud of it and I'm very excited to play it for everyone. It's definitely a lot of different styles all in one album, because I want it to represent me truthfully. It wouldn't be me if it just leant to one certain thing."

Is there a particular emotion or idea that it gravitates towards more, though?
"Each song is different. I mean, every one. That's all I can say. They're all just different facets."

You've worked with DJ Mustard on 'LA Love', but can you tell us who else you've been in the studio with?
"I'm going in with Doctor Luke today. Words can't express what I feel about the song we're doing today. I was in with will.i.am last week. I've been in with Mike WiLL, Polow da Don, and the list keeps growing because I keep forgetting there are people where I'm like, 'Oh my gosh - I want to get in with them'. The process right now for me is just so fulfilling and reminds me of when I was recording The Dutchess."

We love your R&B material, but we know you're a big fan of old-school rock, so can we expect some of that influence in there?
"Absolutely - it's going to be all over the map."

Just how rock can a Fergie album go?
"We'll just see! [laughs] I mean I could do an entire album that's all rock. I'm not doing that, but there has to be a little bit of that in there because it's a part of me."

When are you hoping to get the album out?
"It's definitely this year. I'm working as fast as I possibly can making quality songs."

will.i.am has become somewhat of a national treasure in the UK because of The Voice.
"I know - I love it! I don't follow it, but I have switched it on before just to check in and see how he was doing. It's the perfect job for him. This is what he is meant to do."

Your name has been rumored a few times for these kind of shows, but is it something you'd consider doing?
"Oh I'm definitely open, there just hasn't been the time."

will.i.am also let slip recently that the Black Eyed Peas are going to be doing something special for their 20th anniversary this year, so have you guys met up to discuss that yet?
"Not really. I was just in the studio last week and I saw Taboo there, and I heard something will was doing and it was great. But maybe the guys are doing something? I haven't been in the group for 20 years, so it's more their anniversary of being together for 20 years. So maybe they're putting out an album themselves."

(Note: Fergie officially joined the band in 2003 so it is actually her 12th anniversary as an honorary Black Eyed Pea. That said, new BEP music without Fergie is a bit concerning.)

But when you guys get together I imagine the chemistry clicks back. You must be in contact all the time, right?
"Well I just saw Taboo at the studio for a few minutes, but I'm working on my stuff and I only have a certain amount of hours I can be in the studio because I have Axl. So I'm just very focussed on finishing my album right now."

How are you finding the balance between being a mother and being a recording artist?
"Oh I am on a regimen! I'm like queen of the iCal. I have everything scheduled in, marked in colors, all of that. I have to be at the studio a certain time and then I'm like Cinderella - I turn into a pumpkin! I gotta go! I used to hang out in the studio day in day out, but I don't have time to do that anymore. I've got to balance my life."

Not many people in the UK realize that you've been in the entertainment business for 30 years now as we didn't really get Kids Inc here in the 1980s. If you could go back to 1989 and give Fergie, the girl who was just about to leave the show a piece of advice, what would it be?
"It would be to trust your gut because when I've done that, it's worked for me. If you can see the pathway clearly, you can take the steps to make it happen. It doesn't matter what anyone else says or what their thoughts are, of what they think you should be doing. They just don't see your vision yet."

The album will definitely be out this year, so are you hoping to tour it?
"Hoping? I'm going to! There's no hoping - I'm doing it! I'm coming for you."

Are we going to be getting some dates in the UK?
"Absolutely, 100 per cent. I am coming for you - remember I said that! I will be bringing the LA Lovebus over there."

Mandy Moore has filed for divorce from Ryan Adams after six years of marriage.
According to the Mail Online, the singer and actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

In a joint statement, the couple said: "Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years.
"It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."
The couple married in 2009 after dating on and off for around a year.

Moore recently starred in Fox's Red Band Society, which premiered last September. The show has since been canceled.
It was recently announced that Adams is to co-write the score for Al Pacino's upcoming movie Danny Collins.
