Nancy Wu breaks up with boyfriend of two years

17 Nov – TVB actress Nancy Wu has recently confirmed her breakup with her boyfriend of two years, Patt Shum.

As reported on Mingpao News, Nancy admitted that the pair have broken up but denied that there is any third party involvement.

"I don't want people to think that he treated me badly. He was really good to me and didn't cheat [as was reported]," said Nancy.

The "Overachievers" actress also denied prior rumors of an upcoming wedding.

"We never made any marriage plans," said Nancy. "Those rumors were all fabricated by the media."

"However, I did once say that I consider him an ideal marriage partner," she added.

When asked on the actual reason for their breakup, Nancy only replied that a relationship issue can't be explained easily to outsiders, but stressed that the two of them remain friends.

As to whether there is a possibility of reconciliation, Nancy said, "I will leave it up to fate!"

Solange - the younger sister to Beyoncé - married music video director Alan Ferguson in front of 200 guests, including 10-year-old son Daniel from her previous marriage, at the Marigny Opera House on Sunday.

After the official union, Beyoncé and Jay Z joined the traditional second line parade during which they were photographed dancing up the street alongside a brass band, with Beyoncé twirling a handkerchief in the air.

The 33-year-old 'Drunk in Love' singer donned a figure-hugging white dress by Trend Boutique, while husband Jay Z wore a white tuxedo for the all-white dress code. The pair were also seen laughing and waving sparklers in celebration.

Singer and model Solange arrived in a cream couture plunging Stephane Rolland jumpsuit, while Ferguson wore a white suit - minus tie - with the pair turning up in style side-by-side on vintage white bicycles.

She was also seen dancing energetically with the parade and fellow wedding guests.

Solange and Jay Z were allegedly embroiled in a physical altercation in a lift after the annual Met Ball earlier this year, with footage of the incident emerging online.

Jolie exuded old Hollywood glamour in a strapless Gucci couture gown as she was joined by husband Brad Pitt, looking dapper in a back suit and tinted glasses.

Jolie - who spent six months filming on Australian shores for her second directorial project - greeted fans gathering outside the Sydney State Theatre by signing autographs and taking selfies with members of the crowd.

Speaking about her wedding to Pitt in the summer, she told the Daily Mail Australia: "It makes us happy to be married, if that makes any sense. I don't think we needed it but it feels... he's my husband."
On their children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6 - watching the film, she added: "They're all very emotional about the story and I look forward to them seeing it because I think it's very good for children. It's got good messages."

The biopic stars former Skins actor O'Connell as Olympian and war hero Louis 'Louie' Zamperini, who survives a near-fatal plane crash in WWII and spends 47 days on a raft with two other crewmen. 
Following that ordeal, the group's endurance is tested even further when they are caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner of war camp.

Star Wars actor Domhnall Gleeson and Finn Wittrock also feature in the cast as Zamperini's fellow crewmen stranded at sea.
The screenplay was penned by Coen brothers Joel and Ethan, adapted from the book by Laura Hillenbrand.

Zemperini died back in July, with Jolie calling his passing "a loss which is impossible to describe".
Unbroken is released in the UK on December 26 and in the US on December 25.

Reports claimed that the couple has been dating for seven years

Taiwanese actor Peter Ho was spotted at a night market in Taiwan with a pair of male and female friends on Tuesday. While enjoying their dinner, Peter was seen serving the food to the lady as they whispered to each other, which hinted at their close relationship. The company of three headed to the actor’s house after the meal.

Sources later claimed that the lady named Peggy is Peter’s girlfriend of seven years. It is said that the couple has been keeping a low profile ever since their relationship came to light in 2009, two years after they secretly started dating.

When probed on his night market outing, Peter explained that he wanted to spend time with his cousin who has just returned from Canada. At the same time, the 38-year-old called Peggy “a good friend whom he could talk to”. 

Singing praises of Peggy’s kind and filial personality, Peter let on that his rumoured girlfriend is an online accessories store owner. “She’s met my parents. My dad knows most of my friends, so they come over to visit during festive seasons,” he added.

The actor, who previously announced his goal to get married at 40, also revealed his father’s wish to have grandchildren soon.

Peter and Peggy first met via mutual friends, when the latter was working as a retail assistant. The 34-year-old has since left her job and rarely appeared in public with Peter after they got together.

China media industry bans Kai Ko

Taiwanese actor Kai Ko receives the highest penalty for celebrities and will be banned from China

According to Taiwan media reports, Taiwanese actor Kai Ko finally met his family members in the detention centre after his 14-day detention, his parents, brother and manager Angie Chai visited him yesterday.

Kai and his mother hugged and cried, while his father told him to take responsibility and face the matter bravely. The 23-year-old apologised repeatedly to those who were present and was sorry for letting his family, company, sponsors and fans down. Kai was also worried that his saga will affect movie earnings (Tiny Times 4) and the reputation of his company.

A Chinese character 'Zheng', which means upright, was written by Kai on the wall of the detention centre, a method he uses to count the number of days he has left in the detention centre.

In addition, The State Administration of Radio Film and Television of China has announced that Kai will be banned from the China media industry. Insiders revealed the ruling set by authorities to be the harshest for celebrities and may therefore end their showbiz careers.

It is said that Chinese movie Tiny Times 4, who features Kai as one of the male leads, will remove his parts in the film before releasing it in cinemas. As filming has already ended and Kai has a considerably large role in it, writer-director Guo Jingming has yet to make a response on this matter.

Co-starring as Kai's girlfriend in the movie, Amber Kuo clarified through her manager that she has not received any news and will continue to work as usual.

Besides the movie, Kai faced pull-outs from more than 10 endorsements including KFC China. Due to contractual terms, another chewing gum company will investigate the matter before deciding on Kai's endorsement.

Janice Dickinson accuses Bill Cosby of sexual assault

Janice Dickinson has accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting her in 1982.

Cosby has been the subject of a number of sexual assault allegations, though his lawyers have again denied all claims after they resurfaced in recent weeks.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday (November 18), Dickinson claimed that Cosby assaulted her after she had asked for a pill, as she had been suffering from stomach pains.

"After dinner, in my room he'd given me wine and a pill," Dickinson said.

"The next morning I woke up and I wasn't wearing my pyjamas and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man."

She added: "Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me."

Of why she has come forward now, Dickinson said: "I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do, and it happened to me and this is the true story."

Dickinson added that details of the alleged incident had been outlined in a draft of her 2002 memoir No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel, but pressure from Cosby and his lawyers forced their removal.

Cosby has denied all accusations against him and has not been criminally charged. He settled a civil suit in 2006 over an alleged incident two years previous.

His lawyer Marty Singer responded to the latest accusations, saying: "Janice Dickinson's story accusing Bill Cosby of rape is a lie.

"There is a glaring contradiction between what she is claiming now for the first time and what she wrote in her own book and what she told the media back in 2002."

He continued: "Ms Dickinson did an interview with the New York Observer in September 2002 entitled 'Interview With a Vamp' completely contradicting her new story about Mr Cosby.

"That interview a dozen years ago said 'she didn't want to go to bed with him and he blew her off'. Her publisher HarperCollins can confirm that no attorney representing Mr Cosby tried to kill the alleged rape story (since there was no such story) or tried to prevent her from saying whatever she wanted about Bill Cosby in her book.

"The only story she gave 12 years ago to the media and in her autobiography was that she refused to sleep with Mr Cosby and he blew her off.

"Documentary proof and Ms Dickinson's own words show that her new story about something she now claims happened back in 1982 is a fabricated lie."

Eminem targets rape lyrics at Iggy Azalea in Vegas rap

Iggy Azalea has slammed Eminem's latest provocative lyrics.

Iggy Azalea has become the latest victim of Eminem's vitriol.
The controversial rapper, who last week said he wanted to punch Lana Del Rey in the face, has released lyrics about wanting to rape the Aussie star.
In a disturbing one-minute preview of Vegas, a song believed to be on his upcoming album, Eminem graphically depicts violence aimed at Iggy Azalea.

"So what's it gon' be? Put that s--- away Iggy/You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me/Scream!/I love it/'Fore I get lost with the gettin' off." he raps in the preview, leaked on Wednesday.
Azalea, herself still fresh from her online feud with Snoop Dogg, has already hit back hard on Twitter.
"im bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. zzzz, [sic]" the 24-year-old tweeted on Friday morning.
"its especially akward [sic] because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!"

The attack comes after Eminem took aim at Del Rey last week in a new video to promote his upcoming Shady XV compilation, with the lyrics "Play nice, Richard Simmons, I punch Lana Del Rey right/In the face twice like Ray Rice in broad daylight".
He also referenced former NFL player Ray Rice, who allegedly assaulted his partner Janay.
In the past Slim Shady has taken aim at Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Kim Kardashian.

Last night the Golden Horse Award red carpet was star studded. This year's president Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) was praised for her well maintained figure. She smiled and said, "Do I need to exercise more?" First time at the Golden Horse Award, Gong Li said that she was very nervous but remembered to wave and blow kisses to fans who were screaming her name. In return she received meter busting screams. She admitted that she regretted only attending the Golden Horse Award in its 51st year, but she finally made it. How did she grasp her character? She said, "Watch the film, I completed the impossible mission in the film." Will she make another comedy after FLIRTING SCHOLAR (TONG BAK FU DIM CHAU HEUNG)? She said, "I will play a comedy veresion of COMING HOME!" Tang Wei received passionate cheers on the red carpet and she thanked everyone for their love for her. Last year's Golden Horse Best Actress did not arrive in Taiwan until yesterday afternoon, she said that this year she not only stayed at the same hotel as last year, even the room was exactly the same. That moment brought her a lot of sentiments because she recalled all that has happened this year. Her mood was especially different. Because this year she will only present an award, she was especially relaxed. 

Last year's Golden Horse Best Actor Lee Kang-Sheng and Kuo Shu-Yau were guest presenters. With her display of deep "career line", did Lee Kang-Sheng not dare to look at her directly? He humorously said, "I am afraid that I would drool down to the 'career line'." Kuo Shu-Yau's face turned red and immediately covered up her chest with her arms. Taiwan film KANO's Japanese star Masatoshi Nagase and director Umin Boya yesterday wore the same suit to the red carpet. Later when Umin Boya and Lee Lieh presented Best Original Screenplay he forgot his lines. Lee Lieh immediately tried to cover for him. KANO on the eve of the Golden Horse Award won the FIPRESCI prize and the Golden Horse Audience Choice Award. 

Qin Hao walked the red carpet with the BLIND MASSAGE team. His finace Annie Yi was by his side. They not only held hands but while waiting Yi even pouted at Qin Hao. As for their wedding date, they said that in February they will have wedding ceremonies in China and Taiwan. Qin Hao said, "As long as you ask, we won't hide anything." Yi hoped taht her film THE QUEENS will be at the Golden Horse Award next year. 

Host Ella Chen Chia-Hwa admitted that due to the enormous pressure she frequently had nightmares lately. "I once dreamed that no one was on the red carpet, then the broadcast had to be stopped." Her colleague Mickey Huang in order to "stand out" put eight centimeter pads in his shoes. Later the married Ella reenacted a PARADISE IN SERVICE scene and opened the Golden Horse with a song and dance number. Before Best Actor was announced, Ella openly "flirted" with Chen Jian-bin and Liao Fan right in front of her husband.

Charlene is a really cute actress from Hong Kong. She debuted at the age of 18 in 2000 as a actress, than she debuted as a singer in the most popular Hong Kong band TWINS at 19, and is the youngest female ever to hold a concert in Hong Kong Colisuem. In her short 7 years in the singing industry and 9 years in the movie industry, she has already made over 30 movies, 3 series. Not to mention in the "Twins". Currently working on the movie industry.

Charlene was born in Vancouver, Canada. However her family moved back to Hong Kong a year later. She currently resides in Kowloon. Her height is 5'5".
Charlene studied at a number of different institutions. She attended Marymount Secondary School. In the year 1998, due to her poor academic result and conduct, she was transferred to Rosaryhill School for her studies. In the year 2001, after completed her F.5 studies, she started to become a full-time model in Hong Kong.

In 2001, she was offered to form the Emperor Entertainment Group musical group Twins with Gillian Chung (colloquially known as Gill). Choi since then has been come to known as Charlene, or simply Ah-Sa. In the beginning of twins, there have always been rumors of the two not getting along, mostly because of difference between the two's characters. Gillian was always thought of as the more conservative, and quiet one, while Charlene was the more talkative and outgoing type of character. After 3 or 4 years together, they both had time off and had arranged to go to Taiwan together. Now after being in the group for over 6 years, twins have announced numerous times that they do not want to be apart, and really enjoy being with each other despite the fact that their management company EEG had suggestions of having the two have solo careers. Twins is now still just as popular as before and have been continuing producing lots of records and movies, and are two of the most successful artists of EEG. Gillian is filming a television series in mainland China, so Charlene has been separated from her for many months now, with many to come, and has been somewhat doing solo acts on TV appearances.
