Cheryl Cole confirms new album title: 'It sums up my time away'
Cheryl Cole has confirmed the title of her new album.
The singer will release her fourth solo collection Only Human in the UK this November.



Speaking about the inspiration for the title on The Graham Norton Show, Cole said: "I was exhausted, I'd had a solo tour and then toured with Girls Aloud so I took a year off to be with my family. 
"It was the first time off I'd had in 10 years – it was a normal time."
Reminded that pictures from that period of time saw her partying, she added: "I did party a lot. I needed to let loose and it was the best thing I could do. The title sums up that time."



Cheryl Cole will release her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' on July 27 as the first cut to be lifted from Only Human.
The returning X Factor judge will be joined by Miami Vice star Don Johnson, comedian John Bishop, Mrs Brown's Boys' Brendan O'Carroll and Chrissie Hynde on tonight's episode of The Graham Norton Show, which airs on BBC One at 10.30pm.

Daniel Wu’s mom belatedly reported to have passed away

The actor’s family held a low-key memorial earlier this week

Contrary to previous reports that Daniel Wu’s mother was seriously ill, obituaries have confirmed that the 77-year-old passed away on May 22 after a short battle with lung cancer with her family by her side.

Diana Ting Wu is survived by her husband of 54 years, George, and her three children Gloria, Greta and Daniel. While the actor has yet to make a formal announcement, Saint Mary’s College of California and the San Francisco Chronicle have posted obituaries chronicling the colorful life of the late academic. Diana began her teaching career as a professor at Saint Mary’s in 1981; she was recognised as Emeritus Professor in the School of Business and Administration last June.

A memorial service was held on June 15 at Saint Mary’s College of California Chapel and the family requested for donations to be used for scholarships to be sent to the school in lieu of flowers.

Daniel has not commented on his future plans but his manager has reportedly confirmed that he will be choosing to focus on his career in the US instead - to be with his family in the US. Revolution Talent Management Ltd, which he co-owns with entertainment magnate Peter Lam, will be shut down at the end of the month. He has yet to confirm the fate of his other businesses in Hong Kong, which includes a sushi shop.

Raymond Lam’s brother snubs Karena Ng?

Rumour has it that Raymond Lam’s brother doesn’t like his future sister-in-law

Rumour has it that TVB actor Raymond Lam’s brother isn’t too happy with the former’s girlfriend, actress Karena Ng.

Raymond, 34, has been in a high-profile relationship with Karena, 20, since last year. The doting boyfriend and billionaire (with a net worth of HK$20 billion) is known for splurging excessively on his girlfriend, going on overseas trips with her and even gifting her with branded products.

Jealous fans have branded Karena as a “gold-digger”, and it is said that Raymond’s brother doesn’t have a good opinion of her.

Last May, Raymond brought Karena along to his brother’s graduation ceremony at the University of Southern California, making use of the occasion to introduce his girlfriend to his parents.

Unexpectedly, the actor’s brother refused to take a photo with Karena, and even mocked her on Weibo afterwards: “I’m preparing to buy a bunch of ‘accounts’ and ‘mobile accounts’ to reach 10,000 followers!”

The statement was suspected to be targeted at Karena, who somehow had 6.3 million followers on Weibo, despite not having any significant projects to her name throughout her three years in the industry.

When reporters tried to clarify the situation with Raymond’s manager, she replied, “[I’ll] not respond to such a personal matter, but to my knowledge, their (Raymond’s brother and Karena) relationship is okay.”

Karena’s manager declined comment: “[I’ll] not respond to things that are not true, thanks.”

Additionally, it is said that Karena recently bought a bed worth HK$200,000 (approximately SG$32,297) with Raymond, and is intending to make the latter marry her.

She sported her purple undercut adorned with safety pins. Thankfully, the gigantic pins weren't clasped to her shaved scalp because that would likely have been quite painful.

Osbourne recently told HuffPost Style, "I love pushing boundaries but I do realize that takes a lot of courage and bravery."

Emma Watson may have been confirmed as the female star of Fifty Shades of Grey

A group of online hackers known collectively as Anonymous reportedly hacked into the internal server of German studio Constantin film, and leaked several documents, including one relating to the upcoming Focus Features adaptation.

 

The document states that Watson is attached to star as naive college student Ana Steele, whose relationship with sexually sadistic billionaire Christian Grey is at the center of the erotic trilogy.

The hackers, who have previously leaked phone numbers and credit card information from celebrities including Beyoncé and Kanye West, boasted about their success on Twitter, and the leak was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. 

Along with several documents relating to films that Constantin is considering for acquisition, the hackers also published a list of employees' email addresses. 

It has long been rumored that Watson is a frontrunner for the role of Ana, although she herself has denied any involvement. 

No director has yet been confirmed for the adaptation of EL James's bestselling novel, which is being written by Kelly Marcel and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti (The Social Network).

Megan Fox: 'My heart isn't in acting anymore'

Megan Fox has admitted that her heart isn't in acting since she became a mother to two children.

The 28-year-old told Parents that she plans to make only one film a year so she can spend more time with her kids, Noah and Bodhi. 

She said: "I've never been an extraordinarily ambitious girl or career-oriented, but especially once I got pregnant with my first son and now [having] my second, it's so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family.

"I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them.

"It's all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible."

The actress, who stars in the upcoming live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, also revealed that she worries about splitting her time equally between both of her young sons.

"It's hard because I don't feel like I'm ever giving either one of them 100% of my attention or 100% of myself, so I carry a lot of guilt.

"Do they each understand how special they are and how much I love them? It's hard to make each one feel like an individual when you have to raise them together and manage them together all of the time."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hit theatres on August 8 in the US, with a UK release following on October 17.

Taiwan superstar Jay Chou got nasty with the paparazzi that hounded him on Friday night, as he left a Taiwan cinema with his mother and rumoured girlfriend, model Hannah Quinlivan, reported Taiwan media.

When one paparazzo questioned him over when he and Quinlivan will be handing out wedding invitations, Chou became upset and told him that he would do so "when you (the paparazzo) die".

The notoriously anti-paparazzi star conceded that his behavior on Friday was a little rash, but remained largely unapologetic about his actions, when he met the media after a promotional event on Sunday.

"It was already quite good that I didn't hit him," said Chou, before explaining that the paparazzi had asked him some highly offensive questions that night.

He added that he hoped "Taiwan will become a quiet place" and said "a lot of artistes would like it if there are no paparazzi in Taiwan".

Chou also took the opportunity to clarify that he did not propose to Quinlivan during their recent visit to London, as some tabloids have claimed.

"I was actually there to shoot a music video. It was for work," said Chou.

"It is funny how this became a marriage proposal."

Christina Milian calls off engagement to Jas Prince

Christina Milian has called off her engagement to fiancé Jas Prince.

The singer ended her relationship with the CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records earlier this month, a representative confirmed to Us Magazine.

The couple had been together since 2010, and got engaged last year (2013). 

Milian was previously married to music producer The-Dream. The pair split in 2010 following reports that he cheated on her.

The 32-year-old appeared on Dancing With The Stars in 2013, but was voted off during the competition.

When asked by Buzzfeed if he'd like to appear in any other movie franchise, the Harry Potter star said he would love to play Batman's sidekick. 



"[I'd love to be in] Batman. If they reboot that again, I'll do that too.

Fan buys $166,000 crystal piano for Jam Hsiao

Yuki, a Japanese fan of Jam Hsiao, had previously ordered a crystal piano for his birthday present

Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao has been embroiled in a war with his overzealous fan, Yuki, for more than a year.

Although Yuki had earlier declared that she would sue Jam and his manager for slander, she continued to express her love for him on the side.

The rich Japanese fan has always been generous in expressing her love for her idol. In the seven years that she has been chasing after Jam, she is estimated to have spent a total of NT$14 million (approximately S$581,819).

On Saturday, Yuki revealed two of the most extravagant purchases that she had made for Jam ' the NT$40 million (approximately S$1.7 million) luxury apartment a floor below Jam's home, and a crystal piano that she had ordered specially for him, valued at NT$4 million (approximately S$166,546).

The piano had the words 'Dearest Jam, With Love, From Yuki' engraved onto it.

Yuki explained her purchase to reporters: '[i] heard that he likes crystal pianos, [so I] bought this as his birthday present in March last year. At that time, the maker said that it would take half a year for the preorder, [but] so many things ended up happening in the following six months; he probably won't accept it now. I might rent it to a school, but will not donate it.'

She added that an employee from the piano maker had been to Jam's agency to take measurements last year: 'They, including Summer, all know that I bought the piano, and didn't refuse it.'

Summer, Jam's manager, disagreed with her claims: 'Two years ago, Jam already made public that he would not accept gifts from fans, [so] we rejected her piano in a roundabout way last year.'

'However, she changed tactics and said she was just 'leaving it' at our company. She can't expect people to accept things just because she wants to do it herself. [We'll] suggest that she donates the piano to help more people,' Summer added.

Although the piano has already been sent to her home, Yuki has already given up on Jam, looking back on the stress that she had been given through the past six months.

As for her earlier claims on Weibo that she had had a one night stand with Jam, she clarified: '[i] was just saying it, there's no such thing.' She also promised not to blabber on Weibo in the future.

Summer is not as willing to let things rest. She has filed a case against Yuki, and declared, 'Unless she's willing to make a public apology, she has to pay for what she said.'

Joan Rivers: 'Kristen Stewart is suing me for joking about affair'
Kristen Stewart is reportedly threatening to sue Joan Rivers over comments made about her affair with director Rupert Sanders.

The Twilight actress is said to be unhappy with comments made by Rivers in her latest book Diary of a Mad Diva.
 

In the book, Rivers writes: "Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director's balls."

Rivers told TMZ: "I am now being sued by Kristen Stewart. She obviously didn't read our disclaimer, which says it's a comedy book. I can't wait to get her into court because I'm gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it."

The 81-year-old continued: "Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humor she has. My answer to her was, 'Be glad you're not a Kardashian because they're mentioned a lot more in the book'.


"I'm a comedian. I've been doing it for 50 years. If people don't get it, then don't come and see me. It's okay. Don't read the book. If you're gonna take it seriously, you're a fool."
It emerged in July 2012 that Stewart and Sanders had embarked on an affair while working together on Snow White and the Huntsman. Both parties issued apologies when photos of them together were made public.

Stefanie Sun collapses after concert

Local singer Stefanie Sun was sent to the hospital after her concert in Chongqing, China last night. Although the songstress has reportedly been feeling unwell since Jun 11, she insisted on continuing with her Kepler world tour.

During the concert, Stefanie showed no signs of illness as she sang and danced to a line-up of 30 songs for a 50,000-strong crowd.

However, the songbird allegedly had to be supported by crew members when she got off the stage. Pictures of Stefanie collapsing onto a wheelchair also circulated online, shocking fans who were clueless about her condition.

The 35-year-old, who was put on a drip at the hospital, posted on Weibo later that night. She wrote: âChongqing, Iâve lost my voice⦠Haha.'

Stefanie will be the first artiste to perform at the newly opened Singapore National Stadium on Jul 5.

ay-Z and Beyoncé have been subjected to multiple rumours, the most recent of which being their marriage is on the rocks and they are bound for a divorce. Speculations were especially heightened after Beyoncé's sister Solange attacked Jay-Z inside an elevator after the MET Gala event allegedly because of his cheating. Now another report could fuel the divorce rumours since Jay-Z is allegedly cheating on Beyoncé with R&B singer Mya.

A report from MediaTakeOut has surfaced claiming Jay-Z is secretly seeing Mya. The site added Mya has been Jay-Z's mistress for the past couple of years, with Jay-Z reportedly paying all her bills.

The cheating report started with a blind item posted in the popular blind item Web site Crazy Days and Nights.

"When people talk about Jay-Z and his mistresses, they often forget about a mainstay who has been there forever. She is the person he calls when he needs to be discreet and thinking about old times. She is that very short named R&B singer who hasn't had a hit in awhile and doesn't really even act or record any longer. She basically lives off the generosity of Jay-Z and a couple of other guys. She peaked at A-."

The blind item revealed Jay-Z's mistress to be R&B singer Mya.

However, it is unclear whether the cheating allegation is true since representatives of Jay-Z and Mya have not responded to the report. Furthermore, Mya and Jay-Z have been only professionally involved with each other when they worked on their song "The Best of Me" in 2000.

According to Inquisitr, this report about Jay-Z 's affair with Mya came days after other sources claimed the rapper was also having an affair with Casey Cohen, star of Bravo show "Princess: Long Island."

However, according to TMZ, Cohen and Jay-Z "have never been in love or intimate" with each other and the reports are nothing but "a foul and phony mistress-rumor." Cohen admits to meeting the couple several times as she is a VIP hostess in NYC.

Although Casey Cohen has strongly denied she was having an affair with Jay-Z, this is only one of a number of infidelity rumours Jay-Z has been slammed with, including an affair with Rita Ora and Rihanna.

Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard welcome baby daughter Lincoln

Kristen Bell has given birth to a baby girl.

The actress, who is engaged to be married to actor Dax Shepard, welcomed the couple's first child Lincoln to the world. 

"Lincoln Bell Shepard is here," Parenthood star Shepard tweeted. "She has mom's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!!!"

The couple announced the pregnancy in November last year.

Shepard, 38, and Bell, 32, previously said that they had unconventional plans for the birth during her baby shower.

"I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back," the Veronica Mars star joked.

Bell continued to explain that she feared the painful experience and hoped she could pass out until the child was delivered.

She added: "I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it's over, because I've seen the videos and it looks terrifying."

Han Geng's five-second Hollywood debut

Despite the hype that Chinese singer-actor Han Geng received last year when he was selected to star in the Hollywood movie, "Transformers: Age of Extinction", it was recently revealed that the actor's screen time in the movie lasted for only five seconds!

China News reported that though the actor's involvement in the movie was on the headlines when it was revealed last year, he was only featured as a guitarist who was surprised to see a transformer while waiting in his car, and eventually killed off by one.

The short duration of his appearance surprised Han Geng's fans who have been waiting eagerly to see their favourite idol shine in a Hollywood movie.

Meanwhile, Li Bingbing, who plays the role of a scientist, was given a longer screen time and also performed several action scenes of her own.

It seemed that Han Geng's five-second cameo is another case of Hollywood trying to woo Chinese audiences in order to insert itself more prominently into China's booming film market.

Justin Bieber involved in minor car crash

Justin Bieber was reportedly involved in a minor car crash in Beverly Hills yesterday (June 24).

According to TMZ, the singer was not injured from the incident and was seen emerging from the passenger door.

The 'As Long As You Love Me' hit-maker's Escalade was apparently avoiding paparazzi when it hit another vehicle.

It is not thought Bieber was behind the wheel when the accident happened.

In January, the 20-year-old was arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and drag racing.

Bieber recently uploaded photographs of himself recording new material with Chris Brown in the studio, alongside Akon.

Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg welcomes second baby

Simon Helberg has become a dad for the second time.

The actor, who plays Howard Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory, and his wife Jocelyn Towne welcomed their son back in April.

A spokesman for the actor confirmed the secret birth and added that the couple have named their child Wilder Towne Helberg. He will be a brother to their daughter Adeline who was born in May 2012.

Helberg previously confirmed his wife's pregnancy after she was pictured at the Screen Actors Guild Awards cradling a baby bump.

The actor joked about the fact his wife, whom he married in 2007, has been pregnant at two separate SAG Awards.

"Every time I come to the SAG Awards there's something about this night," he quipped.

"About eight months before [the SAG Awards], I really get the urge. I feel the romance and then we get nominated, so it's hand in hand."

Theresa Fu denies that she's gone under the knife

Plagued by rumors of plastic surgery every single time she uploads her photos on social networking sites, Hong Kong singer Theresa Fu had to dismiss yet another speculation of her going under the knife.

As reported on Singtao Daily, the singer, who has been busy with her blooming career in mainland China, stressed that her look is natural, though she admitted that the rumours did not bother her at all.

Theresa laughed when she was asked to address the rumor and she said that she seemed to be talking about it for a decade.

"I would not object to a little 'fine tuning' in the future, but right now, there is no need for me to do any," said the 29-year-old.

Meanwhile, when asked about her current project, Theresa revealed that she will be filming a movie in Hong Kong in the near future.
