The tailgater caused an accident involving 4 cars and obstructed traffic. When the police got to the scene, Aimee expressed to the officer that she was not feeling well. Aimee was sent to the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital on an ambulance.

It was understood, soon-to-be-father Moses Chan is actively trying to make more milk money, yesterday afternoon when the accident occurred, he was busy shooting for his new film Peer-to-Peer (點對點). Initially he was suppose to attend a function that afternoon, but when he learned about his wife's accident, of course he cancelled and went to see his wife. The worried Moses rushed to the hospital, fortunately Aimee was fine, she was just feeling a little unwell at the time of the accident. Aimee can discharge from the hospital tomorrow. Now that Aimee's belly is getting bigger and bigger, she definitely needs to be extra careful!

In the past year, Alex Fong and Stephy Tang had been focused more on the Mainland market, it was said the couple plan to stay in Hong Kong more this year and it was also rumored they were already secretly married last year in Okinawa. Alex parents lived near the couple's new 'love nest', asked whether its for the convenience of babysitting grandchildren in the future? Alex was more alert this time, and asked the reporter back: "Babysit your babies?" Asked if they are in a hurry to have a 'Horse baby' (2014 year of the Horse)? The unmarried Taiwanese host is said to be expecting a baby

Popular Taiwanese host Aya is was recently rumoured to be pregnant, after she appeared to have gained some weight when spotted at an event.

Just last week, she commented on Barbie and Dee Hsu’s photo, saying: “More and more mothers-to-be!” and appeared to be genuinely happy for her friends who will be giving birth soon.

She also recently said: “A man hopes to have the perfect significant other, and we need to treasure the one by our side to find perfection.”

As an artiste with little or no scandalous news in her showbiz career, it was not till 2006 when she went to further her studies in the US, that news broke that she was dating an American born Chinese. The couple has been together in a long-distance relationship for about seven years to date.

Her manager, however, denied the pregnancy rumours. “She still has so much work in China, how can she be pregnant?”

It is understood that after her father passed away eight years ago, Aya began to develope a pessimistic view on life, and held a firm conviction that she does not want to get married. She used to say: “I don’t need men or children.”

The Mandopop singer says Kai Ko is too expensive to be her spokesperson

Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao officially opened a store for her own fashion line ‘Carry Me’ in Taipei recently, spending a total of NT$30 million (S$1.27 million) for its opening ceremony. She was said to have spent NT$2 million (S$85,000) on promotions for her new store too.

Elva share that she was so nervous she lost sleep the night before, however, the look of satisfaction on her friends and fans’ faces helped eased her stress on the shop’s opening day.

Her boyfriend, Taiwanese actor Kai Ko, did not attend the opening ceremony as he was filming in Shanghai. When asked if she would invite him to be the spokesperson of her brand, she replied: “He’s too expensive for me!”

Earlier, Kai had posted up a photo of himself carrying a black ‘Carry Me’ handbag, and that in just 10 days, 150 pieces of the bag was sold online, generating a profit of at least NT$800,000 (approximately S$34,000) for Elva.

On the opening day itself, he also posted up a photo of himself with a ‘Carry Me’ store bag, saying, “All the best for the opening of ‘Carry Me’!”

Socialites Aimee Sun, who just gave birth, and Yang Xiurong, who is currently expecting, also graced the ceremony. When asked if she would be influenced by her friends to be a mum soon, she laughed, pointed to her store and said: “Nope, because I just gave birth to a huge baby!”

Following his arrest, Justin Bieber appeared in court via video link in front of Judge Joseph P Farina, where bail of $2,500 was set.

Original story: Justin Bieber has been arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and drag racing.

 

The 19-year-old was apprehended at around 4am on Thursday morning (January 23) at Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street. He was driving a yellow Lamborghini, and the driver of a second car, a red Ferrari, was also arrested. Both vehicles have since been impounded.

The second person arrested has been named as R&B singer Khalil Sharief, who had earlier posted an image of Bieber in a yellow Lamborghini on Instagram.

Bieber was taken to Miami Beach police station to Turner Guilford Knight jail for processing later on Thursday morning, where he has been booked for resisting arrest without violence, driving under the influence and driving with an expired licence. 

A search of the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department's official website quotes bail at $2,500 (£1,503).

"It was a cold night, and it was quiet, so the officers could hear the cars," Miami Beach police chief Raymond Martinez told the Miami Herald: "When the cars are going that fast, it takes a while to catch up."

Bieber told officers that he had a beer, was under the influence of anti-depressants and had been smoking marijuana all day, according to police sources.

It has also been claimed that the musician's entourage used vehicles to block off a section of the road.

Police spokesman Sergeant Bobby Hernandez had earlier told local reporters that the teenage popstar "showed symptoms of someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol".

Sgt Hernandez added: "He was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test. He was then taken to the police station to be offered a breathalyser."

Bieber's arrest comes a week after Bieber's home in California was searched by police following reports of an egg-throwing incident.

His friend Lil Za was taken into custody on suspicion of narcotics possession, but was subsequently released.

Bieber's mother Pattie Mallette was recently quoted as saying that she prays for him every day, adding: "If Justin's struggling, don't kick him when he's down or condemn him."

The singer made headlines on Christmas Day when he appeared to suggest he would be retiring from the music industry.

However, he was photographed on New Year's Day at a Toronto recording studio, and producer Douglas Romanow claimed that he had been working with Bieber on new material.

Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott has entered rehab.

McDermott released a statement to confirm that he is seeking treatment for "some health and personal issues", although he did not provide further specifics.

He said in a press release: "I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues.

"I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

McDermott's stint in rehab comes after months of tabloid reports claiming that his and Spelling's marriage was in crisis.

The couple have been married for eight years, and have four children together,

Spelling gave birth to the couple's youngest son Finn Davey in August 2012.

The actress has issued no comment yet on social media.

What is a VIETNAMESE Net Idol?

A Vietnamese net idol is similar to any other net idols--they achieve their popularity through the internet. The difference between a Vietnamese net idol to that of other countries' is that Vietnamese net idols are often people who "have made a name for themselves by being a socially active teen icon through the press and online community" (quoted from truffles14). They do NOT have to have the "best face" like what you would consider an "Uhlzzang". 

So there are only Vietnamese Net Idols in Vietnam?
Vietnamese net idols are very well spread out. We've had a few that are from United States, to France, to Australia, and even Hong Kong. Most of these net idols are often not as popular as the ones in Vietnam, but they are still famous.

Shawn Yue recently denied that there was something going on between him and Taiwanese actress Ivy Chan.

Previously, rumours of a budding relationship spread like wild fire when Shawn uploaded a photo of the frowning actress on his Weibo and commented, "I know you want to sleep very badly, but just bear with it for a while", sparking speculations that the two of them are more than just friends.

However, according to China News, while speaking to the media at the promotional event of his new movie, "As The Light Goes Out" with director Derek Kwok in Taiwan recently, Shawn stated that he was just poking fun at the actress.

"Ivy and I were working on a new film together. Wasn't that obvious? We're both adults," the actor clarified.

When informed that their fans wanted them to be together, Shawn replied, "People kept trying to help us in our relationship. That's just not possible."

He jokingly added that his mother, who used to pester him to settle down and get married, has even stopped doing so.

Kristen Stewart has revealed that she wants to shave and tattoo her head before she dies.

Stewart said that she is "still thinking" which tattoo to go for if she decides to cut off her hair.

Speaking to Into the Glass, the Twilight actress said: "If I wasn't an actor, I would definitely do things to my hair. I would cut it more, I would dye it more. At some point I want to do a total boy cut, completely - not a pretty, girly version - like a straight up James Dean haircut. 

"And then, I'm definitely going to shave my head before I die. I will definitely tattoo my head while it's shaved before my hair grows back. I'm not sure which part, probably the bottom quadrant in the back. I don't know what the tattoo would be, yet. Still thinking."

Stewart, who is already the face of a Balenciaga fragrance, was named the new face of Chanel last month. She will make her debut for the French fashion house in its upcoming 2013/2014 campaign.

Stewart can currently be seen in Camp X-Ray, about a soldier who is assigned to Guantanamo Bay and meets a man who has been imprisoned for eight years.

The Cantopop star was said to have actively sold beauty products to other celebrities

Cantopop singer Kay Tse is recently said to be actively involved in a company that uses a multi-level marketing (MLM) pyramid scheme, and even sold their beauty products to other Hong Kong celebrities such as Joyce Cheng, Jinny Ng and Super Girls.

Shares of the Hong Kong-based American company Nu Skin have reportedly fallen, after word got out that the firm is using an MLM system to market their health and beauty products.

Many Hong Kong celebrities were found to be members of the company, and Kay reportedly reaped a profit of HK$300,000 (approximately S$50,000) a month from selling the products.

In response, Kay’s management told the media: “Kay is actually just a consumer, and she found the products ok, that’s why she recommended it to her girlfriends. It’s something very common.” Her management also denied that she has been earning a monthly profit of HK$300,000, saying that she does not treat it as a business.

Other Cantopop stars such as Eason Chan, Chingmy Yau, Anita Yuen and Myolie Wu are also said to have purchased Nu Skin products.

Nu Skin came to popularity because of its youth rejuvenation machine that retails at HK$8,000 (approximately S$1,300), and is said to be used for slimming purposes and for removal of dark spots. It is also said to be able to treat varicose veins as well. Although its effects have not been proven scientifically, it gained popularity with female consumers after positive results was seen on celebrities.

Although veteran Taiwanese actor Nicky Wu's girlfriend, Liu Shishi, has remained rather scandal-free since her debut in 2005, the Chinese actress was said to have once dated Taiwanese singer Ming Dao, according to online rumours.

The netizen who broke the news even shared the details of their relationship. According to the source, the pair hit off after they started filming for drama series Angel's Happiness in 2011, which sparked off a one-and-a-half year long relationship. They eventually broke up in June 2013.

It was also said that one of the extras on set saw the couple speaking in low voices in a deserted corridor, when filming for the series was about to end. The details of the conversation were suspected to be along the lines of how they were going to maintain their relationship after the filming ends, seeing that they would be in different places. But the discussion did not conclude amiably, and Shishi was seen leaving in a huff.

In July 2012, Ming Dao was seen emerging from a hotel with a long-haired woman, who is speculated to be Shishi. Putting two and two together, netizens' suspicions were affirmed when Ming Dao revealed that he has been out of love for half a year, at his album release Lovelorn Aesthetics last month, which coincided with the time he supposedly broke up with Shishi. The actress got together with her new love Nicky Wu last November.

In Ming Dao's album, a particular song called 'I suddenly Want to Love Her' was said to depict his relationship with Shishi. The music video for this song depicted two actors who fell in love after they filmed a drama together. A source from his production team also revealed that the storyline of the music video is based on his experiences.

Miley Cyrus performed a duet with Madonna in Los Angeles last night (January 28).

The pair mashed together Cyrus's 2013 hit 'We Can't Stop' with Madonna's classic track 'Don't Tell Me' for the Country and Western-themed show.

The duet was part of Cyrus's MTV Unplugged session, which will air on the network in the US tonight (January 29) at 9pm (ET/PT). It airs in the UK on Thursday, 6 February at 9pm on MTV Music.

"That was pretty f**king cool you guys," Cyrus said after the performance, reports MTV News. "It was one of those days that was pretty easy to get out of bed.

"I get to perform with Madonna in bedazzled cowboy boots. I can't really complain about anything."

Cyrus also performed stripped-down renditions of tracks from her recent album Bangerz, including chart-topper 'Wrecking Ball' and new single 'Adore You'.

Fox has banned an uncensored version of Scarlett Johansson's new Super Bowl commercial.

According to USA Today, the 30-second SodaStream ad was rejected due to its use of the phrase, "sorry, Coke and Pepsi".

Her star Johansson makes her own fizzy drink in the ad, before wondering how to make it "viral". She then removes her bathrobe and drinks from a straw seductively, before mentioning the rival companies.

SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum claimed that Fox rejected the ad "because they're afraid of Coke and Pepsi".

"What are they afraid of?" Birnbaum said. "Which advertiser in America doesn't mention a competitor? This is the kind of stuff that happens in China. I'm disappointed as an American." 

Fox and Pepsi have yet to comment on the story, while a Coca-Cola spokesperson said: "I can confirm we did not pressure Fox. Other than that, we don't comment on our competitors' efforts."

Johansson's deal with SodaStream has also been met with controversy, due to the Israeli company's factory in the West Bank settlement.

Oxfam has been among the critics of the collaboration, as Johansson is an ambassador of the charity.

The actress has defended her contract with the brand, saying: "SodaStream is a company that is not only committed to the environment but to building a bridge to peace between Israel and Palestine, supporting neighbors working alongside each other, receiving equal pay, equal benefits and equal rights.

"I believe in conscious consumerism and transparency, and I trust that the consumer will make their own educated choice that is right for them."

The Chinese beauty, who is reportedly dating Show Luo, is said to have undergone multiple plastic surgeries



Mandopop dance king Show Luo and an internet celebrity Zhou Yangqing have been seen posting up photos of couple outfits and accessories separately on Instagram recently, sparking rumours that they may be dating.

Show, 34, declined to comment on this rumour when contacted. Although he has been romantically linked with many celebrities before, such as Tia Li from girl group Dream Girls, he has only admitted to a past romance with Taiwanese-based artiste Makiyo.

This time, on both Show's and Yangqing's Instagram accounts, netizens found photos of them wearing couple outfits and similar necklaces. They were even found to have gone to the same restaurant in Shanghai on the same day, and were shopping at the same store.

Show's fans also found photos on Instagram of the pair in a similar pose last year. Agitated fans even commented: 'What are you guys trying to do? The more you try to cover up, the worse it gets!'

Yanqing is said to be a 25-year-old who hails from a wealthy family in Beijing, and often posts up photos of herself decked out in branded clothes and accessories. She is said to have studied in a prestigous High School affiliated to Renmin University of China (under a joint programme), before continuing her studies in the United Kingdom. With a pair of doe eyes, straight nose and shapely body, she has garnered some fame online.

But some netizens have also suggested that she may have undergone plastic surgery to her eyes, forehead, chin and other parts of her body to attain that level of beauty, spreading old photos of Yanqing and comparing her features to her current looks.

She wants to get rid of scars from the accident three years ago

Popular Taiwanese girl group S.H.E member Selina Jen underwent a laser treatment last Thursday to get rid of scars under her chin, marks left from the accident three years ago when she suffered severe third degree burns during filming.

This is the first time she underwent scar removal treatment after recuperating from her injuries, and it is said that she needs to be treated two to three times before the scars can be completely healed.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Selina posted up a photo of herself with a bandage below her chin, which sparked discussions among fans that she may have gone for liposuction to remove her double chin. But she explained: “This is the first time I’m doing scar removal treatment – I’ll just start from the simplest.”

But the 32-year-old singer found the laser treatment too painful for her, and she may not have the courage to go through a second round of treatment. “Unless the results are good, I don’t want to do it anymore, because it’s too painful!” she confessed.

She added that she does not have any plans to undergo treatment for the more serious scars on her body and legs. “The doctor wants to wait till the scars have matured before he does the treatment for me,” she said. “He said I can focus on my career first.”

When she went home on Saturday, she took off her bandage and took a photo with her mother and sister, even commenting jokingly: “We look like three sisters!”

Fann Wong and Christopher Lee are expecting their first baby together

The rumours are true – local actors Christopher Lee and Fann Wong are expecting their first child – a “horse” baby together.

Chris, 42, personally shared the good news with reporters in Taiwan at Catwalk’s prayer ceremony today. “We have been looking forward to this, thank you for your concern!” he said with a smile. In a follow-up Facebook post, he wrote: "I'm really happy [because] I am going to be a father this year."

Fann also confirmed the good news in her latest Instagram post: "Yes, we're having a BABY! (sic) Can't wait to see our little new bundle of joy! Huat ah everyone!"

The actress also thanked everyone for their "care and support" in this journey and said that their baby is "doing very well and very healthy".

"I hope that the baby will arrive safe and sound and healthy with everyone's blessings," she wrote.

A representative from Catwalk Asia also confirmed the good news when contacted and said that Fann, who is currently resting in Singapore, is “three months pregnant.”

Chris’ colleague, Bianca Bai, who was present at the prayer ceremony, was delighted to hear that the couple is expecting a baby and congratulated them.

“I have known Chris for a long time and I have been waiting to hear this piece of news. When I was told of it, I even had goosebumps! I’m really happy for them!” said the model-turned-actress in an interview.

Last Monday, an insider revealed that Fann is pregnant and in her first trimester of pregnancy. Said insider added that the couple have yet to announce the news due to “Chinese pregnancy taboos” that consider it inauspicious to announce one’s pregnancy during the first trimester.

In a previous interview with xinmsn, Catwalk’s rep revealed that Fann personally requested to go on “a long break” during Christmas last year. Since Fann signed a contract with Catwalk Asia early last year, she has been based overseas for long periods of time for work. On top of participating in overseas drama productions, she has also made numerous commercial appearances at fashion and entertainment-related events.

Fann and her actor hubby Chris were in Singapore last week to celebrate her 43rd birthday (last Monday) and to spend the Chinese New Year celebrations with their families. The couple are said to have been trying for a baby since they got married in September 2009.

His girlfriend is rumoured to be two months pregnant

After Hong Kong singer Daniel Chan ended his relationship with Cecilia Cheung, he was said to havegotten together with a Taiwanese nurse 12 years his junior last year.

Although the 38-year-old singer did not confirm that they are dating, he did not deny the rumours either. Recently, there were even speculations that the girl is two months pregnant, and that Daniel intends to hold a low key wedding in Hong Kong at the end of the year.

When queried about this, Daniel avoided the question and changed the subject. “You want to recommend me to star as a gunman in a movie?”

It was understood that Daniel met his girlfriend when filming Taiwanese idol drama Love SOS last year. Daniel was said to have bought an apartment worth NT120 million (S$5 million) in Taiwan, which he will officially receive in 2015.
