The Taiwanese singer-actor will reportedly have several scandalous scenes in the drama

Rumour has it that Mandopop star Show Luo will be heading to Shenzhen, China, to film Taiwanese director Lin He Long's new Chinese drama series Three Women and A Man (tentative title) at the end of the month.
Responding to the rumors yesterday, Show's manager confirmed that both parties are in talks, and that the actor is inclined to take up the role to "repay a favor". The three dramas which Show previously starred in " Corner with Love, Hi My Sweetheart, and Hot Shot" were all directed by He Long.
Based on a novel, the new drama will explore various sexual topics such as masturbation. As its lead actor, Show will reportedly be featured in several scandalous scenes, which raised concern among his fans. However, they have been assured that Show's role would not affect his image as overly erotic scenes will be removed due to broadcasting constraints on TV.
In order to join the production, Show will allegedly have to turn down lucrative job offers as the judge of two reality singing competitions, which would earn him nearly RMB 14 million (approximately S$2.93 million).

Popular Hong Kong model-turned-actress Angelababy and her Chinese actor boyfriend Huang Xiaoming have been dating for years, and prefer to keep their relationship low-key relationship.
However, Angelababy surprised everyone when she opened up about their relationship recently. She admitted that she has "met his parents" and said that they are "very happy now."

Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie are separating.

The couple confirmed in an official statement that they are ending their four-year marriage.

Their representative said: "Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation.

"They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

Duff also addressed her and Comrie's split on Twitter earlier today.

Comrie - a former NHL player - and Duff are parents to a son named Luca Cruz Comrie, who was born in March 2012.

Duff is best known for her starring roles in Lizzie McGuire and Cheaper by the Dozen.

Playing a male gynecologist involved in a messy divorce in his upcoming drama, "To Advance Towards Happiness" has made Nicky Wu afraid of getting married.

According to Sina, while speaking to the media in Beijing on 8 January, Nicky revealed that he had a slight fear of marriage after experiencing how bad a divorce battle can be, but denied that it will affect his relationship with girlfriend, actress Cecilia Liu.

"Drama and life are two different things. Don't read too much into my fear of the topic," said Nicky.

Pamela Anderson is giving marriage another try — with ex-hubby Rick Salomon.

The "Baywatch" alum was looking pretty in pink and wearing a huge new diamond ring on the red carpet at Sean Penn's Help Haiti Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The 46-year-old told E! News that she's once again off the market, having quietly tied the knot with the producer.

"We're very happy," she said. "Our families are very happy and that's all that matters."

A rep for Anderson has not yet responded to Yahoo's request for comment about her marriage.

This is Anderson's second time down the aisle with Salomon. They first said "I do" in Las Vegas in 2007. At the time, she was working as a magician's assistant in a stage act at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. After the 7 p.m. show, she left to marry Salomon, 45, during her 90-minute break. She was then back in time for the 10 p.m. performance.

They split almost immediately and annulled the marriage in 2008.

However, in October, Pam was photographed during a topless beach adventure with Salomon in Biarritz, France. Soon after, she appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show and admitted they were "best friends … with benefits."

After making a "recycling" joke, the famous blonde (who briefly went brunette in the fall) added, "I'm very happy. We're happy. He's a great guy."

This is Anderson's fourth marriage. She was briefly previously hitched to both Tommy Lee (with whom she has two teen sons) and Kid Rock.

As for Salomon, he has two children with his first wife, voice actress Elizabeth Daily, and was briefly married to Shannen Doherty. He also dated Paris Hilton with whom he made an infamous sex tape.

Johnny Depp, 50, and Amber Heard cemented their status as a couple on Saturday night and stepped out for their first official event together at The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles.

"The Rum Diary" co-stars, who've been canoodling since 2012, skipped the red carpet but popped a pose for the shutterbugs inside the event.

For their big date night, Depp donned a black suit and tie, a tattered tan hat, and his signature black spectacles. Heard, 27, stunned in a black, sequined gown and polished off her look with a perfect red pucker and swept-up tresses.

The lovebirds packed on the PDA throughout the evening, with Heard nuzzling her head into her sweetie as he whispered in her ear. Last year, she completed a new series Midas and again made a breakthrough. In the series, she has to portray a lesbian and had an one minute force kiss with Kate Tsui. Nancy expressed usually she does have light kisses with her female friends, but she had never forced kissed a girl the way she had to in the series. She frankly expressed felt more nervous than kissing a guy. It was very strange feeling and joked Kate probably didn't feel any better, therefore this scene was indeed one of her most memorable ones. Nancy laughed and said Kate has thick lips, so it felt pretty nice kissing her. Also, Nancy guest starred in [i]Tiger Cubs II as a cold-hearted murderer, which was another challenge for her as well. Nancy saves up all of her acting experiences and in the new year, she hopes to try more different types of roles and will make Best Actress her goal. Later this year, she'll be starting on a new series [i]Business War in which she will play the first female lead. Nancy said: "I hope 2013 will be my last Best Supporting Actress nomination. Still in 2014, I can make more improvements and its not that I want to get any award in particular, but I will really put the effort into my work and if I get a Best Actress nomination, I'll be really pleased."

BEIJING: Chinese actress Tang Wei was recently revealed to have been cheated of about 210,000 yuan (S$43,900) in a telephone scam, reported Chinese media.

A member of Tang's staff said police are currently investigating the incident, but did not give any details about how it happened.

However, she said Tang was quite calm about the matter, and wished to remind people to be wary of such scams.

The incident has captured the imagination of Chinese netizens, who have begun speculating just how the scam was pulled off.

While some have expressed sympathy for Tang’s loss, others derided the “Lust, Caution” actress for being gullible enough to fall victim to a telephone scam.

Taiwanese idol Prince recently uploaded a photo of the script of upcoming Chinese drama Millionaire Inheritors (tentative title), a remake of popular Korean series The Heirs, on Facebook.

The post read: 'If I take up this drama, I would be so pressurized.'

In a separate microblog entry afterward, the JPM member commented on the immense popularity of The Heirs '“ which has earned the likes of many artistes including Taiwanese pop diva Jolin Tsai '“ and asked the fans for their opinion on the role that he should play.

Prince also hinted at his desire to act as the main male lead, Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho), by writing the character's classic line: 'Like me from now on, with your heart if possible, because I have fallen for you.'

Responding to the reports, Prince's manager said that though the actor-singer did receive the script, some details have yet to be confirmed.

Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu's mother-in-law's firm South Beauty, which operates a chain of high-end restaurants in China, is said to be bought over by London-based private equity firm CVC.

South Beauty was set up by Zhang Lan in 2000 and managed by her and son, Wang Xiaofei, who married Barbie three years ago. The company then expanded to Taiwan.

Zhang Lan said: 'The deal has only just been approved, and both parties have not signed it yet.' CVC is said to be buying 69 percent of South Beauty's shares, while Zhang Lan's management will hold on to 31 per cent.

Regarding the ministry's approval for acquisition, Zhang Lan said that she 'had no choice' and that she 'did not violate any rules'.

Wang Xiaofei declined to comment, but the General Manager of a Taiwan South Beauty branch said: 'We have not received any notification that we are to be acquired.' He even added that the restaurant is fully booked for Chinese New Year, and there may be expansion plans in future.

Barbie's mother also said that she has not heard anything about acquisition. 'Don't worry, South Beauty is managed by both Zhang Lan and Xiaofei. I'm sure they will want the best for the company,' she said.

Kanye West is currently under investigation for an alleged assault on a young man following a racial slur.

The rapper reportedly confronted an 18-year-old for calling wife Kim Kardashian a "n***er lover", according to TMZ.

Kardashian was apparently at a Beverly Hills medical center when the man initially tried to help her inside the building among a crowd of paparazzi.

He allegedly shouted racial obscenities to the press, leading Kardashian to speak out against the remarks and apparently drawing further explicit comments from the teenager.

The slurs prompted West to enter the building where he allegedly punched the 18-year-old.

It is claimed that the man has pressed charges and the police now want to speak with the rapper in a suspected battery investigation.

In September last year, it was reported that West had been charged over allegedly attacking a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are expecting twins.

The Fast & Furious actress confirmed to Spain's HOLA magazine that the pair will welcome two babies in early spring.

Thor actor Hemsworth and Pataky are already parents to their 20-month-old daughter India Rose.

Pataky made her first public appearance since confirming her latest pregnancy at the Golden Globe Awards on January 12.

The couple married back in 2010 after a short romance.

Hemsworth recently said of starting a family: "Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for. Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about.

"It makes me much more relaxed with work, because I have something that is far more important to me now."

It was recently revealed that Elsa Pataky filled in for Natalie Portman for a kissing scene with Hemsworth in Thor: The Dark World.

Ciara has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child.

The 28-year-old singer, who is engaged to rapper and producer Future, announced the news on The View today (January 14).

Speculation had been rife over whether Ciara was pregnant or not, prompting the show's presenter Barbara Walters to ask the singer whether she wanted to confirm or deny the news.

Ciara then stood up and displayed her bump, saying: "I'm so excited for this year."

The 'Goodies' star and Future got engaged in October last year after dating for a year, and accepted his proposal in New York at the weekend.

At the time that the couple started dating, Ciara said: "I'm happy. I'm with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable in this setting. He's my best friend, so we talk about a lot of stuff. At the right time, I'm looking forward to [having a family]."

Beyoncé has shared new photos of her celebrating New Year's Eve with husband Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy's jungle-themed birthday.

The 'Drunk in Love' singer saw in 2014 at the Versace mansion in Miami, and gave fans a glimpse of the bash on her Tumblr page.

In one photo, Beyoncé can be seen holding on to Blue Ivy while wearing goofy novelty glasses, while another sees her hitching a ride on Jay Z's motorcycle.

 

By contrast, Blue Ivy's second birthday last week was a more intimate affair, with face paint and pink Disney toys replacing designer outfits and champagne.

Beyoncé this week published an essay declaring gender equality a "myth", calling for the sexes to be "granted equal pay and equal respect".

"Today, women make up half of the US workforce, but the average working woman earns only 77% of what the average working man makes," she wrote.

"But unless women and men both say this is unacceptable, things will not change. Men have to demand that their wives, daughters, mothers, and sisters earn more - commensurate with their qualifications and not their gender."

The actress is rumoured to be keeping mum about her pregnancy due to Chinese traditional beliefs

Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu is speculated to be pregnant with her first child after she was seen with a slightly protruding tummy at an event recently.

Ever since her marriage with Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei in November 2010, the couple had been trying to conceive a baby but without success. It was rumoured that Wang's mother had ordered the entrepreneur to divorce Barbie as she wants a grandson soon.

However, at an event in Shanghai earlier this month, the 35-year-old was spotted removing her heels and changing to flats right after the event ended. Assisted by her assistant up the stairs and taking extra care, the actress was seen with her tummy slightly protruding which led to rumours that she had successfully conceived a baby.

According to a tip-off, Barbie and Wang had kept the news under wraps due to a Chinese traditional belief that pregnancies should not be announced during the first trimester.

It is rumoured that Wang's family had been preparing tonics for the actress daily and had ordered her to cut down on wearing heels.
