Linkin Park deny grassing up band for smoking weed at festival
Linkin Park have denied telling the police about a band smoking marijuana at a festival.
Sublime with Rome's lead singer Rome Ramirez claimed that cops confiscated bags of weed from their dressing room at KFMA Day in Tucson, Arizona after the Hybrid Theory band allegedly reported them to festival authorities.
Ramirez took to Twitter, writing: "Linkin Park called the cops on us and said that they were allergic to pot. cops came and took all our weed while we on stage. Bitch s**t."
He also posted a picture of the police report published by TMZ, that he insists is proof Linkin Park were "snitches".
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda had earlier taken to social media to deny the claims.
"We were at a meet & greet when Sublime was on stage, not dressing room," Shinoda added. "Wouldn't even know if there was smoke.
"If someone was 'representing the band' to the cops in the venue about weed smoke, they were out of line."
