Rihanna and Selena Gomez skipped the iHeartRadio Awards red carpet in LA last night but were spotted looking glamorous backstage at the annual event (May 1).
Rihanna donned a daring sheer gothic-style Givenchy Couture dress with lace detail which she teamed with a black leather jacket.
She also sported bright green lipstick and wore her hair in tiny buns, accessorising with diamond Cross pendants and giant hoop earrings.
The 25-year-old singer, who posed with Pharrell Williams backstage at the bash, was the evening's biggest winner, picking up Hip Hop/R&B Song of the Year for 'Pour It Up', Song of the Year for 'Stay', Best Fan Army, and Artist of the Year.
Gomez arrived to the ceremony on her own and wore a burgundy crop top and matching skater skirt from Cushnie et Ochs teamed with a pair of nude heels as she posed for photographers.

Other star guests spotted backstage included Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, who performed at the bash, and Hilary Duff.
Jared Leto, Shakira, Corey Feldman, Ashley Greene and Mel B were pictured arriving on the red carpet along with Billy Ray Cyrus, who later collected Miley Cyrus's award for Best Lyrics on her behalf.
