Prince William and Kate Middleton have left hospital with their baby boy.

The royal couple left London's St Mary's Hospital with their son via the famous Lindo Wing entrance, where Prince William was first photographed with his parents 31 years ago.

The couple emerged from the famous doors - with the Duchess holding the newborn - and posed for the world's media on the steps of the hospital.

An official statement confirmed that the Duchess and the newborn prince would be discharged from hospital tonight, and return with Prince William to Kensington Palace.

Prince William and Kate Middleton became parents at 4.24pm yesterday (July 22), with their son weighing 8lb 6oz.

The new parents answered questions from press, describing the birth of their first child as a "very emotional" and "special" time.

The child - bestowed with the title Prince of Cambridge - replaces Prince Harry as third in line to the throne.

Prince William said: "He's a big boy, he's quite heavy. We are still working on a name but we will have that as soon as we can. It's the first time we've seen him really so we are having a proper chance to catch up." 

He also acknowledged the amount of time that press and well-wishers had been waiting outside the hospital, joking: "I'll remind him of his tardiness when he's older because I know how long you've all been standing out here. 

"Hopefully the hospital and you guys can all go back to normal now and we can go and look after him."

Earlier today, both sets of grandparents visited the Lindo Wing to see the new family. 

Carole and Michael Middleton arrived at the hospital shortly after 3pm, and upon leaving told the press that their grandson is "absolutely beautiful".

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall arrived at around 5.30pm for a brief visit, before traveling to Wales for royal duties.

The Prince of Wales teased the baby's unveiling as he left the hospital, telling the crowd: "Wait and see, you'll see in a minute."

A Beverly Hills Police officer has been accused of stripping Whitney Houston's body of its protective sheet after her death, making inappropriate comments and potentially contaminating the scene.

Patrol Sergeant Brian Weir filed a claim with the City of Beverly Hills complaining about the alleged conduct of then-Beverly Hills Police Department Sergeant (now Lieutenant) Terry Nutall.

According to the filing: "Detective Sergeant Nutall, for no legitimate law enforcement inquiry, investigative, or other proper and legal purpose, knelt beside and leaned over the decedent, removed the sheet and/or other covering from the body of the decedent to an area below the pubic region of the decedent's body, and came in close proximity to touching the body of the decedent while making inappropriate comments to the effect and substance that the decedent 'looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state' and 'Damn, she's still looking good, huh?'."

The filing adds that "Nutall, in a manner not authorised by law, treated the dead body of the decedent in a way that Nutall knew would outrage ordinary family sensibilities" and "caused potential and/or actual contamination of potential DNA and/or other potential evidence on the body of the decedent".

Weir claims that he had privileges stripped from him and was harassed after reporting the alleged misconduct.

Shameless star Shanola Hampton and her husband Daren Dukes are expecting their first child.

The couple announced to People that they will be welcoming a baby girl early next year.

Hampton and Dukes said in a joint statement: "We are beyond excited to expand our family and begin this new chapter. Words can't describe the joy our hearts feel."

Dukes - a television producer - and Hampton have been married for 13 years.

Hampton is best known for playing Veronica Fisher in the Showtime series Shameless.

She has also appeared in Scrubs, Reba and the 2010 comedy film You Again.

Her wedding may be taking place this weekend, but Sofia Coppola is showing no signs of nerves.

The 40-year-old film director couldn't stop smiling as she strolled through Bernalda in southern Italy last night, with her fiancé Thomas Mars and four-year-old daughter Romy.

Mars carried the blonde youngster on his shoulders while Sofia walked alongside looking chic in a stylish black dress and strappy sandals.



The family were joining the crowds at the religious feast of San Bernardino festival where Sofia was presented with a special honour a few days before she ties the knot at her family's villa on Saturday.

According to Woman's Wear Daily, the long term couple will have a civil ceremony at the family villa, belonging to Sofia's father Francis Ford Coppola.

The small village is the home town of Sofia's great grandparents and the couple are said to be celebrating their nuptials in the villa's garden.




Sofia has one of the best styles, simple and chic she always looks perfectly fresh and put
together.

Francis Ford Coppola bought the Palazzo Margherita property a few years ago and will be at the wedding along with his daughter's close friends and family.

The Godfather director's great nephew Gaetano Russo told the website that he plans to screen scenes from both the bride and her father's movies on the façades of 10 buildings throughout the village.

Sofia first met Thomas when they worked together on The Virgin Suicides soundtrack in the late 1990s.





Thomas's band Phoenix has provided music for several of Sofia's films including Lost in Translation and Somewhere.

Along with Romy, they are also parents to an 18-month-old daughter Cosima.

This will be the second marriage for Sofia - she was previously wed to film director Spike Jonze from 1999 - to 2003.

Tyra Banks has said that she would like to start a family.

The America's Next Top Model host told Access Hollywood Live that she is open to having children naturally or through adoption.

"I will have children, whether they come out of me or come to me," Banks declared, adding: "I'm open to [adopting]. I'm definitely open."

She went on to say: "I've been wanting to do that since before it was cool."

Banks - who confirmed that she is single - further explained that her desire to be a mother dates back to her childhood.

"Since I was 9 years old, I'd be like, 'Mommy! I want a baby, but it don't have to be my baby and I can take it from over there and I can raise the baby'," she recalled. 

"[My mom was] like, 'That's called adoption', and I'm like, 'Yeah, mommy, I want to do that'. So, since I was 9."

Banks has previously been romantically linked to Seal, Will Smith and NBA star Chris Webber.

The model is currently involved in a lawsuit against several wig companies over claims that they stole her "name, photograph, image, and identity" with their products.

Kelly Clarkson is expected to get married within the next month.

The singer and her fiancé Brandon Blackstock, who announced their engagement in December 2012, obtained a marriage licence on Tuesday (October 15), reports E! Online.

The couple are said to have signed their full names on the paperwork, which lasts 30 days from the date of issue - strongly suggesting that their nuptials will take place in the next four weeks.

Clarkson recently expressed a desire to start a family with Blackstock soon after they marry, joking that she would like a baby for Christmas.

In August, the 'Tie It Up' star revealed that the couple were opting for a low-key wedding, with only Blackstock's two children in attendance, after becoming "overwhelmed" with planning the big day.

Clarkson premiered her Christmas single 'Underneath the Tree' online today (October 18). The track comes from her upcoming festive album Wrapped In Red.

Paris Hilton has dressed up as Miley Cyrus for Halloween.

Hilton revealed that she'd been inspired by Cyrus's one-piece suit at the MTV's Video Music Awards, by sharing a picture of her own Halloween costume on her Instagram account.

"Like my Miley costume? #Halloween," Hilton wrote to her Instagram followers. 

Cyrus donned the infamous outfit for her collaboration with Robin Thicke at the Video Music Awards in August.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer made headlines over the weekend by announcing on Saturday Night Live that she will be going on tour.

She will also be appearing at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards, which are airing live from Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome 9pm (CET) on Sunday, November 10.

Simon Cowell has admitted that he wants to name his baby boy after himself.

The 54-year-old spoke about his unborn child with American socialite Lauren Silverman during an interview with ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour, commenting that he wants "to pass the reins" of his business over as soon as possible.

"My number one choice is Simon because I like the name," he told Seymour on Extra. "His birthday is going to be very close to my dad's birthday so I think second choice would be Eric."

On his 'parenting philosophy', Cowell continued: "Be cool about it, and don't worry about things too much... the way my brother and I were brought up, it was kind of relaxed. There were no self-help books.

"I want to teach him how to do my job as quickly as possible. I want to pass the reins over. I really would like the idea of teaching him how to run the business."

Cowell added that he believes his late father would be "amazed" and "very proud" to know he is having a baby.

Cowell previously stated that learning he is to become a father has already changed him "a little bit".

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have revealed their rules for marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot in July after meeting in the recording studio, explained in an interview with People that they refuse to spend more than a fortnight apart.

The pair also revealed that they do not allow each other to drink alcohol while they are spending time apart, with Kroeger saying that the rule applies "even if we're apart for weeks".

"We want to protect what we have," Lavigne added.

Kroeger also explained that the couple do not go to nightclubs without their other half, saying: "We don't want to go anywhere that you're asking for trouble... I don't want to be in Europe texting her, like, 'Where are you?' This way, we don't have to worry about any of that stuff."

Last month, Lavigne unveiled the video for her song 'Let Me Go' - which features Kroeger - while her self-titled album was released yesterday in the UK and today in the US.

Marcia Wallace, the actress who voiced Edna Krabappel on The Simpsons, has died aged 70.

TMZ reports that Wallace passed away at home in Los Angeles with her family around her.

According to a caregiver who spoke to the website, Wallace had been sick in recent months, although specific details are not known.

She had previously been diagnosed with breast cancer in 1985 and became a major public activist for beating the disease.

Wallace joined the cast of The Simpsons in 1990 and voiced Bart's fourth-grade teacher Mrs Krabappel, as well as other one-off characters such as Ms Mellon, a tutor at the Enriched Learning Center for Gifted Children which Bart transfers to in first season episode 'Bart the Genius'.

She won an Emmy for outstanding voiceover performance for her work on The Simpsons in 1992. According to IMDB, the actress appeared in 179 of the 551 episodes recorded to date.

Yeardley Smith, who plays Lisa Simpson in the series, paid tribute to her co-star on Twitter, writing: "Cheers to the hilarious, kind, fab Marcia Wallace, who has taken her leave of us. Heaven is now a much funnier place b/c of you, Marcia. Xx."

"I was tremendously saddened to learn this morning of the passing of the brilliant and gracious Marcia Wallace," added Simpsons executive producer Al Jean. 

"She was beloved by all at The Simpsons, and we intend to retire her irreplaceable character."

Before joining the cast of The Simpsons, Wallace made her name as receptionist Carol Kester on The Bob Newhart Show and appeared on The Merv Griffin Show, ALF, Full House, Bewitched and Murder, She Wrote.

Wallace also appeared on stage in The Vagina Monologues and published a memoir titled Don't Look Back, We're Not Going That Way!.

The actress was due to turn 71 on November 1. Married to hotelier Dennis Hawley from 1986 until his death in 1992, she is survived by a son, Michael Hawley.

Lady Gaga has confirmed that she is still dating Taylor Kinney.

The couple were the subject of break-up rumors in recent days, despite having attended the YouTube Music Awards together on Sunday (November 3).

Gaga said during an interview with Capital FM that she and Kinney are still "in a relationship", after being asked by DJ Lisa Snowdon if her co-host Dave Berry could give the popstar a foot massage at the upcoming Jingle Bell Ball concert.

"[Dave] is welcome to come and hang out with us, I'll make him a cup of tea," she joked.

Gaga continued: "I don't know if I need a foot massage. I don't know if my boyfriend would like that... or my fans either - they'd get jealous!"

Kinney recently laughed off rumors that the couple are going to get married, after a tabloid claimed that they would wed this year.

The Chicago Fire actor and Gaga have been dating for over two years.

Dido has spoken about getting writer's block after having her first child.

The singer, mother to 2-year-old Stanley, also addressed the five-year gap between her third album Safe Trip Home and fourth record Girl Who Got Away.

She told the Daily Express: "You always think you're making music, then suddenly four years has passed.

"Obviously I had a baby, and I was doing various things, then after Stanley came along I didn't do anything pretty much for the first year. I just hung out with him."

Dido added: "I couldn't write anything anyway, all I could hear in my head was the jingle to The Wiggles. I remember my husband saying to me, 'I don't know how you're ever going to write another song again'."

The 'Life For Rent' singer also spoke about the perils of motherhood. She said: "You find yourself singing these nursery rhymes all day, then you're sitting at the piano, and you can't clear them out.

"It's strange now, juggling motherhood and my career. It's like balancing two completely different entities."

She also talked of how motherhood has changed her songwriting style, saying: "What a track needs is dark and light, loneliness, and maybe a solitary feeling within it. But you never feel lonely again when you have a child, I've definitely reassessed how I write."

Dido recently unveiled her brand new single 'NYC', lifted from her upcoming Greatest Hits collection, to be released on November 25.

Jay Z has shared a photo of himself with his baby Blue Ivy on Instagram.

Beyoncé is thought to have taken the photo, which shows the rapper holding their baby aloft in a Lion King-style pose.

The 43-year-old is seen standing in an infinity pool while taking a tropical break with his singer wife.

Beyoncé - who gave birth to Blue Ivy in January 2012 - recently opened up about the bond she feels with her daughter.

"She's my homey," she said. "My best friend."

Jay Z recently described his daughter as his "biggest fan".

Celine Dion has addressed false reports that she had died.

Recently there has been a number of Facebook posts suggesting the singer had been killed in an accident.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Dion said: "Many years ago I [apparently] killed myself in my own garage. Don't ask me why I don't want to be a part of the showbiz industry!"

The Canadian singer said that false death rumors make her "a little mad", because of the impact they have on her family.

"Sometimes it's freaky because I have to call my family about it. I was celebrating the birthday of my twins in Montreal and I was getting these phone calls saying there was stuff on Facebook that I was dead. 

"The thing that worries me is my mom. It makes me a little mad - she's 86 years old and if I'm not on the phone telling her I'm OK four seconds after it's on the news… it doesn't matter what they say, it's the impact it has on your family. 

Dion said that such reports make her "stay away from that side of things even more", before adding: "But I'm glad I'm not dead!" 

One story claimed that she had died in a car crash, while another stated it was a plane crash.

Hello Jessica! Jessica Simpson is showing off her post-baby body once again, and the result is simply stunning. The mother of two showed off her svelte body in a new picture while working with Weight Watchers on Friday, Nov. 8.

"Couldn't stop smiling on set for my new @weightwatchers campaign today! #happy," the 33-year-old wrote. Alongside the caption, a beaming Simpson is seen wearing dark jeans, boots and a tight-fitting white button down top while standing in a field. The singer and designer smiled with her mouth wide open, and with her beautiful blonde locks down in waves.

It isn't a surprise that Eric Johnson's fiancee is so thrilled with her new slimmed down figure. After all, the singer previously dropped 70 pounds after giving birth to Maxwell, 19 months, and has been dropping the weight once again since giving birth to son Ace in June.

"I'm a lot more confident this time around," the former Fashion Star mentor told Tumblr's MomFeeds blog in an interview in late October. "With Maxwell I didn't think about the weight I was gaining, and the first time I stepped on a scale and looked at the number...I mean, that wasn't a number I had ever even considered...and I was faced with a pretty serious truth," she revealed.

Back in August, Simpson was honest about her weight gain in an extensive interview with Us Weekly. "I am just one of those pregnant women who gains a lot of weight," she told Us. "I have really big boobs. I have my curves. Even trying as hard as I did with Ace, I still gained -- definitely not as much as with Maxwell, but still a significant amount."

And because of that, Simpson knew what to do next. "With a toddler on the run and an infant to look after I knew I needed a plan that's simple and fits into my life, along with the support that's so important to my success," she told MomFeeds. "I know Weight Watchers works, so I got on the plan again."

Selena Gomez stepped out to celebrate her Flaunt magazine cover on Thursday night at Hakkasan Beverly Hills looking absolutely gorgeous in a cut out, black Cushnie Et Ochs dress, a sauced-up sexy look similar to the photo spread in the magazine where the "Slow Down" singer, 21, poses in a bob wig, lingerie, and some fabulous couture.

"Well, I actually really was tempted to wear the bob!" Selena told omg! about her ensemble for the evening. "I loved it, it was so much fun, so I wanted to do something darker and simple [tonight]. I've been running around, so something simple was key."

In the latest issue of the magazine, Selena looks more grown up than ever, in a shoot that British photographer — and host of "The Conversation" — Amanda de Cadenet told omg! was purposefully "sensual, not sexual."

"Whenever there's an opportunity to photograph a role model in a way that isn't sexualized — at this time in her life, I think it was a really important shoot for her to do that kind of shows how she is," Amanda told omg!. "She has a lot of integrity."

So did Selena ever have reservations about it?

"[Amanda] and I actually have very freaky stories," she told us. "We have similar kind of backgrounds with her daughter who is 21. She had her daughter when she was 16 and my mom had me when I was 16, so there was a level of sophistication that she knew I was trying to come across, because her own daughter in her life is doing that, so it helped."

Gomez has been a Disney darling and in the spotlight for years, but the actress/singer told us she is embracing the fun of growing up in front of the world.

"These shoots are fun. At the end of the day, I'm 21, so of course I'm very proud to be a woman and I'm proud of my body," she said with a smile. "It's just about doing it the right way."

Another thing Selena is proud of? Girl power. In the latest issue of Flaunt, Gomez addresses Lorde's recent criticism of her song "Come & Get It."

"That's not feminism," she told the magazine. "[Lorde is] not supporting other women. That's my honest opinion, that's what I would say to her if I saw her. I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I've done so far. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue that.”

Selena's remarks about feminism are similar to what Jennifer Lawrence said on Wednesday during her Tumblr Ask with Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, where she criticized certain parts of our culture for tearing women down.

"Of course [I agree with Jennifer]," Selena told us about Lawrence's remarks. "Honestly, that's all the questions that are being asked to girls nowadays. People are trying to find a way to get you to say something negative, and unfortunately that's just what — it isn't our fault!"

In the spirit of all things positive, Selena went on to give the Oscar-winning actress a thumbs up on her new 'do.

"She is rocking the hair! Rocking the hair, ah it's so good," Selena gushed about the "Catching Fire" star's pixie cut.
