Demi Lovato is recuperating after being hospitalized for a lung infection.

A spokesperson for the 'Heart Attack' singer confirmed that she visited a Tarzana, CA medical center after feeling unwell for several days.

"She returned home soon after her ER visit and is feeling much better today," her representative told Access Hollywood.

It is not yet known when Lovato will resume making public appearances.

It has been a quiet start to the year for Lovato, who last made headlines for releasing the music video for 'Nightingale' just before Christmas.

Lovato also scored a hit with her and Olly Murs's collaborative single 'Up' at the end of 2014.

Chris Brown's Canadian tour dates have been canceled because he has been blocked from entering the country.

The 'Fine China' singer was scheduled to bring his and Trey Songz's 'Between The Sheets Tour' to Montreal tonight (February 24) and Toronto on Wednesday (February 25).

Brown broke the news in two now-deleted tweets earlier today that he has been denied entry into Canada ahead of the gigs.

He wrote: "Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto.

"The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"

Tour promoter Live Nation later cited "immigration issues" as the cause of the concert cancellations in a statement.

The 'Between The Sheets Tour' is next scheduled to travel to Rosemont, Illinois on Friday (February 27).

It is not yet clear if Brown's ongoing legal problems stemming from the Rihanna assault case played a role in Canada's decision to deny him entry into the country.

Brown was forced to postpone the opening of his US tour last month over a court dispute regarding his community service hours.

Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy dies, aged 83

Leonard Nimoy has passed away at the age of 83.

The actor and filmmaker, who rose to fame as Mr Spock in the Star Trek TV series and movies, died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, his wife confirmed to The New York Times.

Nimoy revealed last year that he was suffering from the disease, caused by smoking in his younger years. He had been treated in hospital earlier this week.

Nimoy began his career in the early '50s, teaching acting and appearing in B movies - such as 1952's Kid Monk Baroni - and TV roles.

TVB artiste, Priscilla Wong and Korean idol group g.o.d member, Danny Ahn will be filming a TVB-Korean co-produced mini series. According to sources, Korean cable channel CMB and TVB will be co-producing a mini drama called "Seven Days Romance (七天的浪漫)". Danny Ahn and Priscilla Wong will play the main leads, while other actors also include TVB's Jason Chan, William Chak, Kelly Cheung, etc. 

The mini drama is set for 5 episodes, with a plot revolving around a fateful love story between a Korean pop star and a Hong Kong female photographer. The drama will be filmed in both Hong Kong and Korea. On February 23, Priscilla flew to Korea to film the series, and will be expected to film there for half a month. Afterwards, they will return to Hong Kong to film for another half month. The drama will be filmed in Seoul, Daejeon, other main Korean cities and also in Hong Kong.

The drama is specially planned for CMB's 50th anniversary. The director of the production is Moon Young Jin (Dear My Sister), and the screenwriter is Kim Shin Hye (The Family is Coming, Immortal Classic). Broadcast is estimated to premiere in April in Korea and Hong Kong.

Oops, she lost a piece of her weave.

Britney Spears endured a slight hair snafu during her Planet Hollywood "Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency show on Friday night. Midway through a performance of "Do Something" a clump of the pop princess' blonde hair extensions fell to the ground as she kept on dancing. (The show must go on because nobody has time to worry about losing a few tracks of hair while there are 4,500 screaming fans to entertain.)

Spears launched her Vegas show back in December 2013 and has been performing three nights a week ever since.

During an early show, she also suffered a small wardrobe malfunction when her costume's zipper opened up totally exposing her back. Ever the professional, Spears kept on going as her backup dancers rushed to zip up the costume, and the show carried on.

Chris Brown dumped by girlfriend Karrueche Tran over baby reports?Chris Brown has seemingly been dumped by Karrueche Tran over Twitter.
Unsubstantiated reports have surfaced online that the 'Fine China' singer has fathered a child who is now nine months old.
However, Brown and Tran have had an on/off relationship for the past four years.
Taking to Twitter today (March 4), Tran wrote: "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."

alan is Tibetan, having a public official father and a former singer mother.
alan grew up in so called 'Beauty Valley' in China,
taking traditional singing and erhu lessons from a very young age. At the age of 9,
although alan was selected as the second main cast of a TV drama,
she did not choose to pursue the acting career,
but instead, entered Szechuan Music School Attached Junior High School when she was 10.
After taking training lessons of erhu, at the age of 16,
alan entered Chinese People's Liberation Army Artistic School Singing Course in Beijing,
which boasts the ultimate art level in China. Graduates of this school include artists like Twelve Girls Band.
In July 2007, alan graduated Chinese People's Liberation Army Artistic School Singing Course in an excellent results.

The Bio History of Michael Joseph Jackson began when he was born on the 29th of August 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He was the 7th of nine children. (brothers: Sigmund "Jackie", Toriano "Tito", Jermaine, Marlon, Steven "Randy", and sisters Rebbie, Janet and La-Toya Jackson

Michael began his musical career at the age of 5 as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 who formed in 1964. In these early years the Jackson 5, Jackie, Jermaine,Tito,Marlon and lead singer Michael played local clubs and bars in Gary Indiana and moving further afield as there talents grew and they could compete in bigger competitions. From these early days Michael would be at the same clubs as big talented stars of there days, such as Jackie Wilson and would be learning from them even back then. In 1968 the Bobby Taylor and The Vancouvers discovered the Jackson five and from there they got an audition for Berry Gordy of Motown Records. The Jackson 5 signed for Motown and moved to California. Their first 4 singles, "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There" all made US No1 hits. The Jackson 5 recorded 14 albums and Michael recorded 4 solo albums with Motown.

The Jackson 5 stayed with Motown until 1976, wanting more artistic freedom they felt they had to move on and signed up with Epic. The group name Jackson 5 had to be changed as it was owned by Motown, so they reverted to The Jacksons as they had be known in the early days. Brother Jermaine married Berry Gordy's daughter and stayed with Motown. Youngest brother Randy joined in his place. The Jacksons had a number of hit recordsand in total made 6 albums between the years of 1976 and 1984.

In 1977 Michael made his first film debut when he starred in the musical 'The Wiz' playing Scarecrow with Diana Ross in the lead role of Dorothy. It was at this time Michael met Quincy Jones who was doing the score for the film.

Michael teamed up with Quincey Jones as his producer for his first solo album with Epic Records. The album titled "Off The Wall" was a big success around the world and the first ever album to release a record breaking 4 No1 singles in the US.

In 1982 Michael Jackson released the world's largest selling album of all time, 'Thriller'. This album produced 7 hit singles, breaking yet again more records, and went on to sell over 50 million copies worldwide. Michael was keen to use music video or short films as he called them to promote his singles from the album. He worked with the best directors and producers, using the latest technology and special effects.for the hit song 'Billie Jean' The short film 'Thriller' used the latest make-up artists technolgy combined with fantastic dancing and cherography, to produce a 14 minute video, with a start, a middle and an ending. So successful was this video that 'The Making Of Michael Jackson's Thriller' became the world's largest selling home video combined with soaring album sales. In 1983 Michael performed the now legendary moonwalk for the first time on the 'Motown 25 years' anniversary show. This performance alone set Michael undoubtable into the realm of a superstar. In 1984 Michael won a record breaking 8 Grammy awards in one night. The awards were for his work on the 'Thriller' album and his work on the narrative for the 'ET Storybook'.

In 1987 Michael released his much awaited third solo album, titled 'Bad', and lauched his record breaking first solo world tour. 1988, Michael wrote his first autobiography talking for the first time on his childhood and his career. At the end of the 1980s Michael was named 'Artist Of The Decade' for his success off of his 'Thriller' and 'Bad' albums.

In 1991 Michael signed with Sony Music the largest ever recording contract and released his fourth solo album, 'Dangerous'. He toured world again in 1992, taking his concerts to countries that had never before been visited by a pop/rock artist. Also Michael founded the 'Heal the World Foundation' to help improve the lives of children across the world.

In 1994 Michael married Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of rock legend Elvis Presley. The marriage only lasted for 19 months, as they divorced in 1996.

1995 saw Michael release a fifth solo album, 'HIStory', which was a double album, first half new material and second half half greatest hits. Michael toured again over a legs covering a 2 year period. In between legs of the tour on November 14th 1996, Michael married for his second time to Debbie Rowe who was a nurse that Michael had met in the treatment of his skin pigment disorder. Together they had their first child Prince Michael Joseph Jackson jr born on February 13 1997 and a daughter Paris Michael Katherine Jackson born on April 3rd 1998. In 1997 Michael released the remix album 'Blood On The Dance Floor' which also contained 5 new song linked with a 38min film "Ghosts". This film Michael played 5 roles using the latest special effects and make-up artistry, combined with his dance and music.


In September, 2001 Michael celebrated his 30th anniversary as a solo artist with two concerts to be held in New York, USA. Many artists such as Whitney Houston, Usher, Destinys Child, Shaggy and many more performed there own and Michael Jacksons past songs. Michael then reunited with all of his brothers performed there biggest hits. Michael then went onto perform solo some of his biggest hits. In October 2001 Michael released the album 'Invincible' so far releasing only 2 singles including the big hit "You Rock My World". Since the release of this first single the album has been surrounded by rumours of a rift with Sony Music and a clear lack of promotion of the album.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has claimed that she is too old for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion. 
The actress said that while the cast reunite all the time behind closed doors, there are no plans to film more episodes of the cult series.

She told PA: "I joke that I'd have to have a walker and my walker would be made of wood, and that would be how I would stake people. At this point, I'm a little old.
"We have [reunions] all the time, they're just not televised."
Gellar - who played Buffy Summers for seven seasons between 1997 and 2004 - said that the series should not be revived as a movie.

Johnny Depp injures hand on set of new Pirates of the Caribbean film
Johnny Depp has had to take a break from shooting the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, after sustaining an injury to his hand off-camera.
The actor was flown back to the US last weekend from Australia, where Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is being filmed, reports The Wrap.

Scenes without Depp's character Captain Jack Sparrow are being shot while the actor undergoes surgery on his hand.
It's not clear when the 51-year-old will resume filming, although a spokesperson for Disney has told the publication that the film's release date of July 7, 2017 remains unchanged.
The fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is being shot entirely at Village Roadshow Studios and on locations around Queensland until the summer.
Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning are directing the film, which features Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario and Javier Bardem among its cast.

Williams and Robin Thicke were recently ordered to pay $7.3m (£4.8m) to the estate of Marvin Gaye in a copyright infringement case surrounding 'Blurred Lines'.Gaye's daughter Nona has now said that Williams's global hit 'Happy' bears a resemblance to her father's 1965 song 'Ain't That Peculiar'.
"I'm not going to lie. I do think they sound alike," she told CBS News.
However, Gaye's ex-wife Janis claimed the family has no intention to pursue legal action.
"We're not in that space," she said. "We're just in the moment today and we're satisfied."
'Happy' has enjoyed over 10 million sales since its release in 2013.

Pregnant 'Food Network Star' Contestant Cristie Schoen Codd And Husband Murdered, Sheriff Says

Buncombe County Medical Examiner Dr. Sharon Sweede told E! News that authorities have found what they believe to be the remains of Cristie Schoen Codd and her husband Joseph "J.T." Codd.

"The Sheriff's Department has collected the remains suspected to be the two missing persons but that has not been confirmed yet," Sweede said. "There has not been a positive identification of the remains. The process has started and is ongoing but I can't say how long it will take."

According to E!, the results will not be released until the state's Chief Medical examiner's office signs off on them.

Cristie Schoen Codd, who appeared on Season 8 of "Food Network Star," and her husband were murdered in North Carolina, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office. She was five months pregnant. Their former contractor has been arrested and charged with the crime.

Family members reported the Food Network contestant and her husband Joseph "J.T." Codd missing Sunday from their home in Leicester, according to WSPA-TV. The two were supposed to go on separate business trips out of state over the weekend, but neither showed up for work.

Robert Jason Owens, 36, was arrested Monday and charged with three counts of murder, as well as breaking and entering and larceny, according to NBC News. Owens is a contractor who lives in the Leicester area and was hired by the Codds to work on their home.

The arrest warrant states Owens "unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did of malice afterthought kill and murder" the Codds on March 12, WLOS reported. Additionally, he is accused of stealing a laptop, jewelry and a Glock handgun.

Schoen Codd was a caterer for film sets and her husband worked behind-the-scenes handling equipment as a grip.

"She was an amazing, amazing, lovely woman," television producer Julie Helton told the Asheville Citizen-Times. "She was a phenomenal cook, and she always invited people over to have dinner and taste some good Southern food. She made some of the most amazing birthday cakes, and her laugh was contagious. Just the two of them together were just so happy and loving. They were just amazing friends."

Schoen Codd had worked on the set of the "Terminator" and Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted his condolences to her family Tuesday.

A Food Network spokesperson told Us Weekly: "Our thoughts go out to Cristie's family and friends during this difficult time."

Owens, who is also suspected in the 2000 disappearance of an 18-year-old, faces the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
