Rumour has it that Ronald Cheng has been cosying up to Fala Chen on the set of his new movie



Hong Kong singer-actor Ronald Cheng has allegedly betrayed his wedding vows for getting close to Hong Kong TVB singer-actress Fala Chen.

Although he has been plagued with numerous scandals since his debut, Ronald became a reformed man after marrying and having a child with former anchorwoman Sammie Yu. The 42-year-old, who returned home early every day and was often seen on outings with his wife and daughter, was hailed as a model husband and father.

Recently, Ronald is co-directing new film Cheung Po Tsai, which stars multi-hyphenate Dayo Wong and Fala.

Rumour has it that Ronald has admired Fala for some time '“ immediately recommending her for the female lead when Shu Qi rejected the role '“ and promised to shoot her to fame.

Last week, the production team headed to Cheung Chau, Hong Kong for a 4-day location shoot. Ronald refused to allow his wife and daughter to visit the set, claiming that their presence would be affect his concentration in directing.

However, an insider revealed that without his wife and daughter there to keep an eye on him, Ronald often got intimate with Fala while directing her poses. The two even allegedly hung out together by the beach late at night, attracting the jealousy of Fala's co-star, Chinese actress Zhao Shuo.

1 May – Han Geng was recently revealed to be part of the cast of Tsui Hark's upcoming movie, "Tracks in the Snowy Forest".

As reported on Mingpao, the Chinese star recently surprised many when he attended the wrap up party held by the production company, to which Tsui then revealed, "Han Geng is part of the cast. He plays a member of the 203 Division."

"His character appeared while we were making the script, as to give viewers more connection to the 203 Division," the director added.

Meanwhile, the actor admitted that filming the movie was very tough, as it was shot in several rough terrains in Xue Xiang, Maudanjiang, located in the Northeast.

According to Oriental Daily, Tsui Hark also revealed that the movie is one of the most dangerous films he has ever made, saying, "The cast and crew worked under a freezing weather of 30 degrees below zero Celsius."

The director disclosed that they spent hours transporting the equipment to the location and had to race against time, as the daylights were very short in the area.

However, he is excited to show the end result of their hard work to the audience, saying, "Viewers will get to see all the intense action scenes, but they won't know how risky and dangerous the behind-the-scene process was."

The unmarried Taiwanese host is said to be expecting a baby

Popular Taiwanese host Aya is was recently rumoured to be pregnant, after she appeared to have gained some weight when spotted at an event.

Just last week, she commented on Barbie and Dee Hsu’s photo, saying: “More and more mothers-to-be!” and appeared to be genuinely happy for her friends who will be giving birth soon.

She also recently said: “A man hopes to have the perfect significant other, and we need to treasure the one by our side to find perfection.”

As an artiste with little or no scandalous news in her showbiz career, it was not till 2006 when she went to further her studies in the US, that news broke that she was dating an American born Chinese. The couple has been together in a long-distance relationship for about seven years to date.

Her manager, however, denied the pregnancy rumours. “She still has so much work in China, how can she be pregnant?”

It is understood that after her father passed away eight years ago, Aya began to develope a pessimistic view on life, and held a firm conviction that she does not want to get married. She used to say: “I don’t need men or children.”

Rihanna and Selena Gomez skipped the iHeartRadio Awards red carpet in LA last night but were spotted looking glamorous backstage at the annual event (May 1).

 

Rihanna donned a daring sheer gothic-style Givenchy Couture dress with lace detail which she teamed with a black leather jacket. 

She also sported bright green lipstick and wore her hair in tiny buns, accessorising with diamond Cross pendants and giant hoop earrings.

 

The 25-year-old singer, who posed with Pharrell Williams backstage at the bash, was the evening's biggest winner, picking up Hip Hop/R&B Song of the Year for 'Pour It Up', Song of the Year for 'Stay', Best Fan Army, and Artist of the Year.

Gomez arrived to the ceremony on her own and wore a burgundy crop top and matching skater skirt from Cushnie et Ochs teamed with a pair of nude heels as she posed for photographers.
 

Meanwhile Jennifer Lopez, who presented Rihanna with the Artist of the Year award along with Ryan Seacrest, smouldered in a white beaded bodycon Zuhair Murad dress.
Other star guests spotted backstage included Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, who performed at the bash, and Hilary Duff. 
Jared Leto, Shakira, Corey Feldman, Ashley Greene and Mel B were pictured arriving on the red carpet along with Billy Ray Cyrus, who later collected Miley Cyrus's award for Best Lyrics on her behalf.

Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie are separating.

The couple confirmed in an official statement that they are ending their four-year marriage.

Their representative said: "Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation.

"They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

Duff also addressed her and Comrie's split on Twitter earlier today.

Comrie - a former NHL player - and Duff are parents to a son named Luca Cruz Comrie, who was born in March 2012.

Duff is best known for her starring roles in Lizzie McGuire and Cheaper by the Dozen.

Adriana Lima, Marko Jaric split after five years of marriage
Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric have separated.
The Victoria's Secret model and the former NBA basketball star married on Valentine's Day in 2009 and have two daughters together.


The couple released a statement to People magazine this evening (May 2), confirming the split.
"After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage," read the jointly issued message.
"We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. 
"We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family's privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family." 
Lima was recently photographed visiting the Victoria's Secret UK flagship store on Bond Street, following the news that the brand's annual fashion show will take place in London.
The annual event will take place at Earls Court in December.

Pharrell Williams and Shakira have reacted to the news that Gwen Stefani is joining The Voice US.

Williams will make his debut on the NBC singing competition alongside the No Doubt star later this year.

Speaking to Access Hollywood at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, he said: "Gwen is like the best of the best. If she's doing it, I'm doing it!" 

Stefani and Williams previously collaborated on the hit single 'Hollaback Girl' in 2005, which the latter produced.

Shakira - who is currently appearing as a coach on the sixth season of The Voice - said that Stefani will be "terrific".

 

"I think she's gonna be terrific as coach," the 'Empire' star said. "She's just a cool gal and she's very smart and she's a true artist. I think that chair is going to be with the right person."

Stefani will fill in for Christina Aguilera, who is on hiatus as she prepares to welcome her second child. Aguilera is expected to return to the show in the future.

Williams and Stefani will be joined by Blake Shelton and Adam Levine for the seventh season.

Nashville's Hayden Panettiere has put her plans to wed on hold due to the civil turmoil in Ukraine.

Panettiere has revealed that her and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko's primary concern is the brewing crisis in Ukraine, where the boxer's brother Vitali Klitschko is involved in reform efforts.

"Everything that's happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things. But we have time," Panettiere shared during an interview with Parade.

Panettiere's future brother-in-law Vitali has emerged as one of the most high-profile figures in the Ukrainian resistance movement over the last six months.

The former Heroes actress recently expressed her hopes that Ukrainians will get "justice and democracy".

Panettiere and Wladimir announced their engagement last October.

Dakota Fanning to star in Brain On Fire adaptation

Dakota Fanning has signed on to star in an upcoming movie adaptation of Brain On Fire. 

Based on a memoir by Susannah Cahalan, the film will tell the story of a 24-year-old woman's battle with a severe form of encephalitis. 

In the book, Cahalan details how the disease caused violent seizures, and also made her paranoid and delusional during a one-month stay in a hospital.

Charlize Theron is producing Brain On Fire through her company Denver and Delilah. 

Fanning recently wrapped production on an untitled coming-of-age feature by Miss Bala director Gerardo Naranjo.

She will next be seen in the drama Effie Gray.

Fanning also stars opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the political drama Night Moves, opening on May 30 in the US.

The former singer is keeping mum about his daughter’s birth details

Rio Peng, ex-member of Taiwanese boyband 5566, was spotted entering a gynecology clinic with bags of tonics and baby products such as diapers, on Wednesday. The 36-year-old later announced via his company that his billionaire heiress wife Tina Lin gave birth to their first child last week.

Declining to reveal further details about his baby girl, Rio simply said that “both mother and daughter are well” and that the couple is “very happy”.

Rio and Tina, who tied the knot in August 2012, has stayed out of the limelight ever since their wedding. The couple remained low profile about Tina’s pregnancy, and the good news was only revealed when she was eight-months pregnant.

Following his departure from 5566 in 2003, Rio established his own entertainment agency called Music Nation Wingman Limited.

With her long brown hair, muted makeup, and modest dresses on red carpets as of late, Nicki Minaj may have you wondering, "Who's that girl?"

Indeed, the "Super Bass" singer, 31, has ditched her trademark colorful hairstyles and wild makeup in favor of a more ladylike style for The Other Woman premiere in Los Angeles on April 21 and at the MTV Movie Awards on April 13.

Since splitting with her main wig man, Terrence Davidson, in January 2013, Minaj has worn mainly blonde hairstyles. "I started working with her early last year — the reason she reached out to me is because Tyra Banks had given her my number," celeb hairstylist, Oscar James, told Cosmopolitan.com. "She wanted a more toned-down look, and I think that's why she reached out to Tyra. So I created that wavy, super-blonde hair with the dark roots — the wig."

While the blonde wigs were a step to a more natural look, James says Minaj has since totally ditched the wigs. "Now she's wearing her real hair," the celeb stylist, who also works with Halle Berry and Beyonce, said. "So I just follow her lead. When she would ask me, 'Well, what do you think I should do?' I usually bring things that are a little more stylized because I feel like that's who she is, but, surprising even to me, she's been leaning toward even more natural. She wants to do less. Just less, less, less."

That apparently meant returning to her naturally dark brown hair. The "Right Thru Me" singer has shared plenty of pictures of her brunette locks on Instagram, but she debuted it on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. "We talked about maybe changing the color a little and she was adventurous at the MTV Movie Awards, where we added a few extensions just to give it a little more pop," James said. "I didn't think she would but once I did it, she loved it."

Although the stylist prefers wigs since all of the styling, color, and heat can severely damage hair, Minaj, who recently released her latest fragrance Minajesty, is staying away from them. "I'm trying to gradually get her back into wigs, but she's adamant now," he says. "She doesn't want it."

Jam Hsiao snips his hair for new album

The Taiwanese singer thinks that his hair “could be cut even shorter”

Mandopop star Jam Hsiao has finally snipped off his shoulder-length hair, in preparation for his new album slated to be released next month. The singer hopes to present a refreshing image with a short crop and white outfits this time around.

“Actually [my hair] could be shorter!” he chuckled. “It’s more convenient to wash and dry my hair now. The time I take to prepare before leaving the house is much lesser too!”

In fact, Jam had wanted to get a similar hairstyle as Hisashi Mitsui, a character in popular Japanese mangaSlam Dunk, because of their “similar backgrounds”. “We both once went astray but we eventually turned over a new leaf due to our love for basketball,” explained the singer.

Also, the 27-year-old is not worried that his fans would have a hard time getting used to his new look. “If you compare the surface area of my face that is exposed, there isn’t much difference as I always had my hair tied in a ponytail previously,” he said.

A fan of long hair since young, Jam felt “forced” to maintain a short hairstyle during his school days. Ever since he fell in love with rock music, he resisted cutting his hair even more.'

Megan Fox is pregnant with her second child.

The Transformers actress's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick confirmed that she is expecting another baby with husband Brian Austin Green.

Zelnick told The New York Post: "I can confirm Megan is expecting her second child with her husband Brian. They are both very happy."

Fox and Green - who married back in 2010 - are already parents to 9-month-old son Noah.

Her pregnancy is in the early stages, and has reportedly not interfered with her work filming the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot.

Megan Fox is reuniting with Transformers director Michael Bay for the project, in which she is playing April O'Neil. It is scheduled for release on May 14, 2014.

Back in January, Fox claimed that being a mother is better than being famous, and provides the "ultimate satisfaction".

It was reported that Chinese actress Betty Sun Li had given birth to a baby girl in Hong Kong.

According to ECNS, the "Legend of Zhen Huan" star who already has a son, Deng Deng, born in November 2011, posted a message on her micro blog on 3 May, saying, "Deng Deng's younger sister has arrived."

However, the actress has yet to reveal more information about her newborn baby.

The actress married Chinese actor Deng Chao back in 2010 after working together in the TV series, "Happiness as Flowers".

They also worked in the hit 2012 movie, "Mural", which made more than RMB 180 million (Approx. USD 29.6 million) at the box office.

Kai Ko and Elva Hsiao break off relationship

 Rumour has it that 34-year-old Taiwanese diva Elva Hsiao and her younger beau Kai Ko had recently called it quits.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the couple who have been together since 2012, reportedly have decided to break up amidst speculations that they are planning to get married.

On 30 April, a source claiming to be close to the 22-year-old Kai Ko alleged that the relationship is over and that Elva's previous flirty Instagram messages with designer Jason Shih was the straw that broke the camel's back.

While both stars' agencies refused to make any comment about the breakup, many believed the reports to be true after Kai Ko uploaded a photo of himself with a new haircut, with a caption saying that it is his 'new beginning', while Elva wrote a message thanking friends for being there with her through difficult times.
