Robin Roberts has revealed that she is ready to return to her "full life".
The Good Morning America, who had a bone marrow transplant almost a year ago after being diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, told People that she will be working five days a week after Labor Day.
"I'm looking forward to it," she said. "I want to get back to my full life."
Roberts also revealed that she is "really at peace now", saying: "I'm not as frightened. I feel 90% of myself again, and that's a great feeling."
She added that it is "great" to feel "stronger and a little more active".
Roberts is reportedly writing a memoir about her illness which is due to be released in April 2014.
