Channing Tatum is reportedly eyeing a role in Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.
The actor is in line for the writer-director's western, reports Deadline.
Samuel L Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell and Tim Roth are currently attached for the project.
The film centres around two bounty hunters, a tough female prisoner and a local sheriff who take shelter from a savage storm in a Wyoming saloon.
Joining them are four men who may or may not be attempting to free the prisoner.
Tatum was recently confirmed to star in 20th Century Fox's X-Men spinoff Gambit.
The Hateful Eight will begin shooting in January.
