3 Nov – Another Chinese actor has reportedly been arrested for drug abuse recently.
According to Sina News, 44-year-old model-actor Hu Dong, who has worked in many period dramas including "Swordsman", "Legend of Chu and Han" as well as "Heroes of Sui and Tang", has reportedly admitted to using crystal meth after being nabbed on 16 October.
Hu Dong, who hailed from Zhejiang and is the older brother of actor Hu Bing, was tested positive for the drug, according to the police.
Previously, the actor dismissed such rumours after a Beijing local media reported the news that an actor surnamed Hu has been booked by the police. However, the police record's data of the arrested star showed that it is consistent with the actor's identity.
Hu Dong's camp cannot be reached for comments.
