Selena Gomez cut an interview short after being asked a question about ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Gomez - who was appearing on Chicago's WGN Entertainment network on Monday (July 22) - appeared uncomfortable when host Dean Richards asked her about Bieber's recent controversial behavior.
The 'Come & Get It' singer was taking a break from her 21st birthday celebrations to promote her new album Stars Dance on the program.
Richards asked: "You're, you know, probably as close a friend to Justin Bieber as they come.
"Is there something about him that we don't get or we don't understand?"
Gomez seemed uncomfortable on hearing the question and repeatedly looked off camera.
The host continued: "I mean, there is one story after another of, you know, pretty outrageous behavior that we're reading about."
The star made no reply to Richards's questioning and the satellite link was cut off shortly afterwards.
Gomez recently admitted that her split from the 'Boyfriend' singer left her "stressed out".
