Beyoncé and Jay-Z attended a Trayvon Martin rally held in New York today (July 20).
The couple were spotted together in Manhattan with Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, and civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton to offer their support.
Crowds were heard praising the pair's appearance, shouting "Thank you, Jay!" and "no concerts in Florida", condemning the state's jury verdict to acquit George Zimmerman on charges of murdering Trayvon Martin.
Hundreds of supporters turned up at the rally, which took place in one hundred cities across the US.
Both have publicly backed the 'Justice for Trayvon Martin' campaign. Beyoncé asked for a moments silence during her 'Mrs Carter Show World Tour' concert on July 13, while Jay-Z paid homage at his Wireless festival appearance, saying: "Rest in peace, Trayvon Martin".
Beyoncé recently posted a plain black image on Instagram with the hashtag #justicefortrayvon, in a further offer of support.
Other high-profile celebrities have also shown their support on Twitter, including Kim Kardashian and Rihanna.
Trayvon was fatally shot at the age of 17 by George Zimmerman on February 26, 2012 following an altercation.
