Ex-5566 member Rio Peng welcomes baby girl
The former singer is keeping mum about his daughter’s birth details
Rio Peng, ex-member of Taiwanese boyband 5566, was spotted entering a gynecology clinic with bags of tonics and baby products such as diapers, on Wednesday. The 36-year-old later announced via his company that his billionaire heiress wife Tina Lin gave birth to their first child last week.
Declining to reveal further details about his baby girl, Rio simply said that “both mother and daughter are well” and that the couple is “very happy”.
Rio and Tina, who tied the knot in August 2012, has stayed out of the limelight ever since their wedding. The couple remained low profile about Tina’s pregnancy, and the good news was only revealed when she was eight-months pregnant.
Following his departure from 5566 in 2003, Rio established his own entertainment agency called Music Nation Wingman Limited.
