1 May – Han Geng was recently revealed to be part of the cast of Tsui Hark's upcoming movie, "Tracks in the Snowy Forest".
As reported on Mingpao, the Chinese star recently surprised many when he attended the wrap up party held by the production company, to which Tsui then revealed, "Han Geng is part of the cast. He plays a member of the 203 Division."
"His character appeared while we were making the script, as to give viewers more connection to the 203 Division," the director added.
Meanwhile, the actor admitted that filming the movie was very tough, as it was shot in several rough terrains in Xue Xiang, Maudanjiang, located in the Northeast.
According to Oriental Daily, Tsui Hark also revealed that the movie is one of the most dangerous films he has ever made, saying, "The cast and crew worked under a freezing weather of 30 degrees below zero Celsius."
The director disclosed that they spent hours transporting the equipment to the location and had to race against time, as the daylights were very short in the area.
However, he is excited to show the end result of their hard work to the audience, saying, "Viewers will get to see all the intense action scenes, but they won't know how risky and dangerous the behind-the-scene process was."
