Taiwanese actress Shu Qi recently appeared to have gone public with her relationship with Hong Kong star Stephen Fung after she posted a photo of her cat with the actor on Instagram on Wednesday.
Fans took it as a sign that the pair are together, and excitedly congratulated the couple.
Yesterday morning, she posted another photo of her cat sitting in a luggage that was filled with men’s clothes. Netizens then speculated that the actress was helping Stephen pack his luggage, and that they are going on a holiday together.
In the afternoon, Stephen followed suit and posted a photo of her cat, with the caption: “Have you eaten?”
Not long after, Shu Qi posted another photo of her cat, with the words: “Missing you!” These actions appeared to confirm speculations that they are indeed together.
When queried by reporters, her publicity manager gave an enigmatic reply. She said: “Think however you want. It’s natural to post photos, and anyway they will not deliberately announce or deny anything. It’s been so many years, everyone should know.”
