Matilda Ledger Looks So Much Like Her Dad, Heath!August 9th, 2010
It’s two-and-a-half years since The Dark Knight star died, but he lives on in his look-alike daughter.
When we first looked at this picture of Matilda Ledger, taken while she was out on the weekend with her mom, Michelle Williams, it made us sad to note how much the 4-year-old looks like her late father, Heath Ledger. But then, as we thought about it, it occurred to us that this must be a tremendous comfort to Michelle, especially if she sees her former love whenever she looks at the face of her adorable little girl.
Heath died of an accidental overdose in January 2008, and though he and Michelle had broken up prior to his death, he was still the father of her daughter, and we like to think the feelings she gets about him when looking at her daughter are warm ones.
As Michelle told Vogue last year, “Every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her.”
