Chris Pine is reportedly facing a drink driving charge in New Zealand after a night out with co-stars on his latest film.
According to 9 News, the Star Trek actor was stopped during a routine drink-driving check near the Canterbury town of Methven on March 1.
Pine was in the region shooting for his latest film Z For Zachariah, alongside Margot Robbie and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Canterbury police admitted that they had charged a 33-year-old American national for drinking with excess blood alcohol.
Local pub manager Casey Crawford claimed that around 70 cast and crew hired the Blue Pub in Methven to celebrate the end of shooting on the film the night before Pine was charged.
Crawford added that the stars apparently had designated drivers planned for those intending to drink.
Canterbury police said the individual will appear in Ashburton District Court on March 17.
