Frank Ocean has been sued for apparently backing out of a deal to do a Chipotle advertisement.
The 'Pink Matter' singer is said to have made a deal with the food company to sing a remake of the song 'Pure Imagination' for one of its animated commercials.
However, Ocean allegedly did not want the Chipotle logo to appear at the end of the ad and decided to drop out of the $425,000 agreement after seeing a final cut.
According to TMZ, Chipotle has claimed that Ocean's team sent an email saying the singer had believed he would have final say over the use of the track.
The company is now suing Ocean for his $212,500 advance.
Fiona Apple later recorded 'Pure Imagination' for the final commercial.
Ocean first gained attention with the release of his lauded album Channel Orange. Ahead of the release, he caused ripples in the hip-hop community after revealing that his first love was a man.
