Daniel Radcliffe sported shoulder-length hair extensions as he picked up the best actor gong at the 2014 WhatsOnStage Awards in London last night (February 23).
The 24-year-old Kill Your Darlings star was awarded for his role in West End play The Cripple of Inishmaan at the annual ceremony in the capital.
He also reunited with former Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who won the London Newcomer Of The Year for his work in Mojo.
The pair posed for photographs together, with Radcliffe sporting bouffant, wavy shoulder-length hair, which he later revealed were hair extensions for his latest role as Igor in a film adaptation of Frankenstein.
James McAvoy will play the lead in Paul McGuigan's movie based on the Mary Shelley novel, with co-stars including Mark Gatiss, Freddie Fox and Jessica Brown Findlay.
Lamenting his fake new locks, he told the Daily Telegraph: "I don't mind how it looks but I mind dealing with it. I don't know why any man would have it voluntarily.
"The amount of work it takes, having to dry it - doing anything to it is a f**king nightmare. I do have a whole new sympathy for women. I wouldn't be growing my hair this long in my own time."
Upon accepting his award, Radcliffe said: "I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious award and I accept it on behalf of the whole cast, who together helped make this production of The Cripple of Inishmaan a truly joyous experience for me as an actor."
The play is set to move to Broadway for three months in April.
Other winners yesterday included David Walliams, Helen Mirren and Trey Park & Matt Stone.
