Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted that he isn't worried about his 40th birthday.
The Great Gatsby actor said that he is well-prepared for hitting the milestone later this year.
He told Shortlist: "I suppose 40 represents something different, but I've been thinking about 40 for so long that I'm prepared for it.
"It seems like the age barometer where you're still considered youthful is getting higher and higher. I'm going to hold on to that ideal as long as I can."
The 39-year-old recently defended his latest film The Wolf of Wall Street, in which he plays stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
The film has attracted criticism for its representation of Belfort's sex and drugs-fuelled life and his rise to riches on Wall Street.
"I hope people understand we're not condoning this behavior, that we're indicting it," he said.
"The book was a cautionary tale, and if you sit through the film, you'll realize what we're saying about these people and this world, because it's an intoxicating one."
