La Toya Jackson has denied reports that she married her long-term friend and business partner Jeffre Phillips last week.
The reality star recently got engaged when Phillips proposed during the filming of her OWN reality series Life with La Toya.
Following claims that the pair wed on Friday (December 6), a rep for Jackson told ET: "The rumors that La Toya Jackson married her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips are completely false.
"The reporting outlet should be embarrassed for their mistake and at least make an effort to find facts to back up their story before reporting."
The singer was previously married to her former manager Jack Gordon from 1989 to 1996.
Jackson recently said of her family that the public have a lot of misconceptions about them, explaining: "I think that when it comes to the Jacksons in general, people think that they're weird, they're strange, they're crazy, they're odd. And we're not.
"I want people to know that we're just like you guys are. We're no different."
