The rumours are true. Taiwanese singer-songwriter, Lee Hom, and his 27-year-old girlfriend, Lee Jinglei, have quietly registered their marriage in New York on Wednesday (Nov 27), reported Taiwanese media.
The newlyweds, who were introduced by a family friend, reportedly chose to marry on the same day as the Lee Hom's parents' wedding anniversary.
News of the marriage, which came a day after the 37-year-old star went public with his relationship, was a shock to many and spurred netizens to uncover more details on the singer's wife.
According to their netizens, Jinglei was the assistant vice president of banking giant J.P Morgan's consulting services department from 2008 to 2010.
